Not sure why Marquez would want to fight Bradley. That 0 isn't going anywhere, unless Marquez get's the KO.

Rios is the perfect opponent for Manny. No movement come forward slugger.
I'm a bit surprised too especially considering he was offered $12 million plus PPV revenue for another Pacquiao fight. Bradley turned down $6 million as well. Maybe they both figure they'll win and get more idk. JMM could simply be done with Pacquiao though since he got the last laugh.

BUTE INJURED; MAY 25 FIGHT WITH PASCAL POSTPONED
By Press Release | May 07, 2013

As announced by InterBox earlier, Lucian Bute is injured and cannot fight Jean Pascal on May 25 at the Bell Centre.

For GYM President Yvon Michel, who was co-promoting the event with InterBox, this is only a postponement of the greatest fight in Canadian history.

"Obviously, when we first heard the news a few hours ago, we were all in shock," Michel said. "This is part of boxing and we are aware that we have to live and deal with these contingencies. Our perception is that this only a postponement. We ask Quebec to show understanding and patience. We wish a speedy recovery to Lucian."

Jean Pascal was also surprised to learn the bad news. "I was so excited when I met with the media last week," Pascal commented from his Las Vegas training camp. "I thought that I was in the best shape of my life and very optimistic about my fight with Bute. We now need to start over but I am a professional. I know that these things happen and I think that sooner or later, we will both be in the ring to settle our differences. And I would like to add that I would still fight on May 25; I am ready to face anyone."

GYM and InterBox are currently in a research and analysis solution mode. Full details will be announced as soon as there are new developments.

But on the Marquez fight too, he couldn't cut weight and probably went up a few lbs too tho
Yea but that fight was at a catchweight right? wasnt like 144, so even if he didnt make weight he was probably still around 150 or so for fight night. He just didnt make weight a 144 thats all. The biggest he looked to me was against Cotto but that was expected as his 2nd fight at 154. Got Em!!

I think Marquez could win by decision if he outboxes Bradley. The Bradley/Ruso fight was scored correctly in my eyes and he almost lost that one and dude was a nobody. Got Em!!

The fight is in China for one so you will have to kill Manny again to win, and for two the winner of Bradley vs. Marquez will be in the driver seat for a big fight.

JESSICA CORAZON: "EVERYTHING THAT PAULIE'S DONE, I CAN'T WAIT TO SIT THERE AND WATCH ADRIEN KICK HIS

BT: First and foremost, I gotta know, were you on the phone during that entire press conference?

JC: I was on the phone for the entire press conference. Adrien called me before he walked in there and I heard everything.

BT: Did you know in advance what was about to happen?

JC: No, not at all. He just called me because...he was actually going to fly me there for the press conference, but Paulie and his friend were threatening me, so I did not end up of going. Instead, I told him to call me so I could hear what's going on.

BT: Wait. Paulie and his friend, I assume you're talking about Peter [Sferrazza], were threatening you? What do you mean? What were they saying?

JC: Uh, yes. Peter, his waterboy, was threatening me. Um, they were just threatening me. You know, obviously me and Paulie were talking and he had some pictures of me that he said he was going to put out there. They were just like, "How you gonna talk to Adrien?" Blah, blah, blah. You know, just on and on, like literally, hours and pages and millions of messages non-stop.

BT: Damn! Well, set the record straight about the relationship you had with Paulie. According to him, he referred to you as just "weekend pussy". What exactly was the relationship between you two?

JC: I was definitely not weekend pussy. I think he got a little bit hurt. He used to do a lot of things for me. He was taking me out to his press conferences. Danny Garcia was there and Kid Chocolate was there and they saw him wrapped around me like a little dog, you know what I'm saying. He was buying me Christmas presents, he took me out to dinner, he knew my family. I mean, I don't know, he was at my house Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. He wasn't always there on the weekends, so I don't know where he's coming up with that, but it was pretty clever.

BT: How long was your relationship with him?

JC: We were talking for about 7 months. You know, there was times when he would go to train; I was talking to him while he was training for his fight. He hit me up every single day, you know what I'm saying. Like, I don't know where he's coming up with this weekend pussy thing, you know.

BT: I gotta admit, it does sound like a little more than just a weekend fling type of thing.

JC: Would you talk to your weekend pussy's mother, you know what I'm saying? He has my mom's number. They would talk to each other. I talked to him every single day, whether he was in New York or he was in LA training, you know. I don't know where he's coming up with this weekend pussy thing. I mean, all I can do is laugh about it. I would be mad if someone left me for Adrien too. It's pretty pathetic.

BT: So were you still in the relationship with Paulie when you first met Adrien and then later decided to leave him, or had you already left Paulie before connecting with Adrien? How excatly did Adrien come into the picture?

JC: You wanna hear a funny story?

BT: I always like to hear funny stories (laughing).

JC: Before the time I met Paulie, I never watched boxing and he got me into boxing. The first fight I ever watched on HBO was Adrien's fight, and I told Paulie, "I love this guy. He is so awesome." And like, he would get so like, "Oh, he's not that good. They're just hyping him up." I'm like, "No, he's that good." It was just so funny. Even when he went away for like a week or two, he went to Italy and then he went to London to commentate at the press conference for Ricky Hatton, and while he was in Italy, he got me tickets to go to Adrien Broner's fight and sit ringside.

BT: Which fight was that?

JC: It was the one against DeMarco. I was sitting ringside. I was there. Paulie's the one who got me tickets.

BT: Was that the first time you met Adrien?

JC: I didn't even meet him that night, but I always was just like, I love Adrien. He's the best. He comes out with the best people. He came out with Kendrick Lamar that night. The first fight I watched, he came out with Wacka Flacka. I always told Paulie, "Adrien's gonna be the next Mayweather." He would get so mad. And then, when me and Paulie had a falling out, I met Adrien and, you know what I'm saying, they just happened to be fighting and he asked me questions about Paulie and it just went from there.

BT: So you and Paulie had already split before you had a chance to actually meet Adrien.

JC: Yes.

BT: How did that initial meeting come about?

JC: We just know a lot of the same people, you know what I'm saying. I was talking to somebody that he knows and then I started talking to him. Honestly, Adrien is an amazing person. Compared to Paulie, like, I'm not even just saying outside of the ring, you know, he's just an amazing person.

BT: I gotcha. I just wanted to get clarification because I'm sure some people will try to paint the picture that you're just a boxing groupie.

JC: Yeah, I mean, Paulie tried to pull that card on me too, but 7 months ago when I met Paulie, I never even watched boxing, you know what I'm saying, so he was the person that kind of got me into it, and it's funny because the first fight that I watched on TV was Adrien's fight. I was just like amazed by him, by his entrance, by his fight; I just thought he was awesome. I was never into boxing. I'm a really girly girl. I'm far from a groupie, you know what I'm saying. I modeled for Maxim. I have my own attention; this is not for attention. The only people that I know through boxing was, I mean, Paulie started me like, you know, watching these fights, bringing me to fights; he would bring me to his press conferences. He brought me to his press conference for the Cano fight and Danny Garcia was on that card and Kid Chocolate was on that card, so I was with him the whole day, you know what I'm saying. I was with him at his photo shoots; I went with him everywhere. Literally I was with him for 8 hours, so the only way that I know these boxers is because of Paulie, spending the day with Paulie, because they were there doing their photo shoots too. So I know Kid Chocolate and I know Danny Garcia.

BT: When Adrien calls Paulie a woman beater, is he just kind of joking around about that or is there more to it? Paulie's basically saying that Adrien is saying that because you like rough sex, so is he talking about stuff that goes down in the bedroom or is he talking about something else?

JC: I mean, it just started off as rough sex. In the beginning, Paulie was the nicest person, you know, like ever. I guess as time went on and he got more comfortable, like, towards the end, you know, I was the one who had to stop talking to him because this dark side just came out of him. It started off as rough sex, but it just escalated to something that I wasn't comfortable with, you know. Adrien wasn't lying when he told you I was depressed about it. I was upset. I tried to talk to Paulie about it, you know what I'm saying, and he just...it's not good, you know what I'm saying. Everything that he's saying is a lie. I tried to keep that, you know, separate from their fight, but I told Adrien and he got upset and he's just defending me, you know what I'm saying?

BT: It does seem like it gets under Paulie's skin just a little bit every time Adrien brings your name up.

JC: It's driving him crazy. If he never did what he did, I would've never stopped talking to him and we wouldn't be in this situation, you know. It sucks; him and his friends are going around calling me a slut. I was with Paulie for 7 months and I never slept with another person, you know what I'm saying. I had a boyfriend before this for 6 years. I'm not a slut. I'm not a whore. Whatever they're trying to say about me, they're just doing it to make themselves feel better. I don't know why he's mad because I told him from day one, you know, that I love Adrien and I'm going to talk to Adrien one day. I guess when he found out for the first time at the Barclays Center, it just really hit him in the face hard.

BT: Would you say the relationship was something that you ended, but not necessarily something that he wanted to end?

JC: Yeah. I ended it. I definitely ended it, you know, after the altercations we had, or the rough sex, whatever you want to call it, he came out of nowhere with this stuff. It hit me out of left field. Like Adrien said, it was like "sha-ping", like it just hit me out of nowhere. He was so normal. I'm a very normal girl. I think I'm a good looking girl. I never had any problems getting a guy. I don't know, he was so normal, you know, and then as time got on, I don't know if he was trying to get a little freakier; I don't know what he was doing, yo, but it just escalated. I don't know, you know what I'm saying.

BT: So as far as you're concerned, Paulie's story about you being just "weekend pussy" couldn't be further from the truth?

JC: This is the true story. I have pictures. I have videos. I have every text message from Paulie that he ever wrote to me. I have text messages saying I love you. I mean, I don't know how many girls you say I love you to if they're weekend pussy. He was talking to my mom, he met my family, I mean, I don't know. I've seen his ex-girlfriends and compared to me, I don't know why he's calling me weekend pussy because I look 10 times better than them.

BT: Are you surprised to see things escalate to the point that the situation has become a part of their fight?

JC: Um, you know, it started off so small, you know what I'm saying, and it got so big. From my point of view, at this point, you know, the things Paulie's posted about me on Twitter, the things he said at the press conference; he actually stood while they faced off holding a picture of me in my underwear, so at this point, everything that Paulie's done, I can't wait to sit there and watch Adrien kick his ass.

RING current Top 10 P4P
1. Mayweather
2. Ward
3. Marquez
4. Wlad
5. Mares
6. Broner
7. Martinez
8. Pacquiao
9. Bradley
10. Alvarez

Cant say I agree with list at all. It's great Mares is getting his respect, he's earned it. But Canelo barely squeaks by Trout and he's #10 while Rigondeaux dominates p4p #5 and lineal champion Donaire and he doesn't make top 10? Broner destroys 4'3 Gavin Rees and he's #6? Lol whacky list. Top 3 is good.

They also put too much in a loss. Donaire was their 2012 fighter of the year and he lost to the #1 challenger who was one of the greatest amateur fighters of all time. Meanwhile Bradley got a gift against Pacquiao and went life and death with a guy who wasnt even ranked at 147 in Ruslan. Martinez looked old and nearly lost to an unknown in Murray.

My list would be something like this:

Floyd
Ward
Marquez
Wlad
Rigondeaux
Mares
Martinez
Donaire
Froch
Pacquiao

WOW! The onky reason I wouldn't put Rigo in the top ten is because even tho he beat Donaire, Donaire didn't fully train where he was supposed to be at and He still needs to fight more PRO fights. I understand his amatuer fight history, but that's why he got a title shot. Let's say they fight again and Nonito stays in Oxnard this time to train, with his wife not pregnant, and stays more focused. Would Rigo win again? I would actually like to see a rematch of this fight. It was still a solid performance by Rigo, but he's not as proven as a PRO like the other fighters.

That's way too many excuses bro. Rigondeaux was already a title holder and he was the #1 challenger to Donaire. It was a unification bout. And he schooled Donaire. Bottom line is Rigo out classed Donaire, unified all the titles at 122 and is now the lineal, undisputed champion. That's pound 4 pound worthy.

Like my comrade naner says, we can only judge what we see in the ring. Everything else is nothing but excuses. Pregnant wife? Rigondeaux is cut off completely from his children and has no contact with his family. Hes not complaining though.

ALEX ARIZA ON PACQUIAO VS. RIOS: "IT'S A SERIOUS OPPONENT; IT'S A SERIOUS FIGHT"
By Ben Thompson | May 10, 2013

"It's obviously something that we have to take serious. Not only does he have Robert Garcia, Trainer of the Year, but he also has Memo [Strength & Conditioning Coach Angel Heredia]. Hopefully Manny plans on going back to what we've done in the past. It's a serious opponent; it's a serious fight," stated world-class Strength & Conditioning Coach Alex Ariza, who shared his thoughts on a number of subjects, including Manny Pacquiao's November showdown with Brandon Rios, the possibility of working with Juan Manuel Lopez, and a future clash between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Andre Ward. Check it out!

BT: What's up Alex? Glad I finally caught up with you. I know they're keeping you busy down there in Mexico, but I wanted to ask about Juan Manuel Lopez real quick. Is it true that you might be working with him?

AA: They just reached out to me and said that they were fighting Mikey Garcia and they were wondering if I would be interested in training JuanMa. Honestly, it's a very difficult decision because I'm friends with obviously those guys and I helped Mikey a little bit in the last camp, but, you know, there's people that always interfere and trying to disrupt whatever I'm doing with certain people and certain teams, and outside of our control, I wasn't able to train Mike. They asked me this time and I'm friends with Robert Garcia. I mean, we don't have each other over for dinner or noting like that, but we're cordial, we're professional, and knowing that I have helped Mikey in the past, I just wanted to give him a heads up, you know, and say, "Hey, this is where it's at." But it's contingent upon what's going on with Julio and his next fight. If Julio doesn't know what's going on with the next opponent in the next couple days, he plans on going back on vacation again. He's thinking about taking more time off until maybe possibly September, so I'm just waiting for Julio to make a decision, and if that's the case, it's very likely I'll be taking off to Puerto Rico.

BT: So you're basically just waiting to find out if Julio is actually going to be fighting on August 3rd then?

AA: Of course, you know, Julio is my first priority and he does want to make another push and have a big fight with a big opponent, so, as of right now, we don't know who the opponent is and we don't have a date, and Julio's at the point right now that he's thinking about maybe pushing it off another month because he enjoys relaxing and he's in no real hurry to get back. He's been off for 9 months, dude, you know, so we need a good, long 3-month camp. I moved here to Mexico and JuanMa appeared within the last week. Like I said, it's a hard decision to do because I met the family and everything with the Garcias. It's business though and I gotta make money too. With Manny being knocked out and on suspension, and Julio being on suspension, I haven't worked this year that much.

BT: JuanMa is fighting on Mikey on June 15th. Will that be enough time for you to implement the type of program you like to put your athletes through?

AA: I live for this kind of shit, you know, being the underdog. I know what JuanMa is capable of doing. I know what he used to do in the past. We've talked in the past. I know what I can do and what I can bring to the table for JuanMa. I think I can make a big difference. It's just unfortunate it's against Garcia because, like I said, I really do like those people. They're really genuine and they're just good people all around. I like 'em a lot. But it is contingent upon what Julio does and if he decides to go back on vacation and, you know, push the fight further down the road. If that's the case, I guess I'll be heading out to Puerto Rico.

BT: Well bro, I know you're busy down there, so I don't want to keep you, but real quick, give me your thoughts on a couple of fights. They just announced that Manny is going to be fighting Brandon Rios in November. What do you think about that fight, and more importantly, about Rios as Manny's next opponent?

AA: It's obviously something that we have to take serious. Not only does he have Robert Garcia, Trainer of the Year, but he also has Memo [Strength & Conditioning Coach Angel Heredia]. Hopefully Manny plans on going back to what we've done in the past. It's a serious opponent; it's a serious fight. Never judge a fighter by their last fight, man. You just never know who's gonna show up. I mean, everybody was saying the same thing, "Manny's gonna knock out Marquez. I can't wait to shut them up. I can't wait to do this, this, and this." And I kept saying, "We're not taking these guys serious." I looked at the way that they're training; I know what they're doing. They're using a lot of the things that we used to do that used to give us the advantage. These fighters are getting smarter and they're improving, they're getting better, and again, now you got Memo on their team. Whether you love him or you hate him, you gotta respect him.

BT: Okay, and what about a potential future fight between Chavez Jr. and Andre ward?

AA: I've talked to Julio and that ain't going to happen. Julio's got no interest in going up in weight. He said there's a reason why we started 3 months out. He knows what he has to do to get to 160 and stay in the 160-pound division. It's about starting early, being consistent, and following the program. He's got no interest in going up, and that coming from him, because I've talked to Julio about it personally. He goes, "You know what, bro. You don't remember, but I remember that there was times with fights that you and I have had where I didn't have to cut weight. I woke up on weight or a pound over." He goes, "I know that if I do everything the same way that I used to do, I can make 160 still. When people say I have troubles making weight, I don't have any more problems than anybody else out there. Why does everybody want to move me out of my weight class. I'm not moving out of my weight class. I like 160. I'm gonna train, I started 3 months out, and people will see how easy it is for me to make weight when I put my mind to it." So he's got no interest in moving up to 168. I talked to Julio about it myself.

COTTO EYES SEPTEMBER SHOWDOWN WITH CANELO; IN TALKS TO WORK WITH FREDDIE ROACH?
By Ben Thompson | May 10, 2013

According to reports out of Puerto Rico, three-division world champion Miguel Cotto is eyeing a Fall showdown with unified jr. middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who is already expected to make his return to the ring on September 14, the same date that's currently being held for undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather. Although Alvarez is hoping that it's Mayweather who will be standing across the ring from him during the coveted Mexican Independence Day weekend, judging from Mayweather's comments to the media following his 12-round unanimous decision victory over Robert Guerrero, it likely won't be. Enter Cotto, who many industry insiders believe is the real opponent that Golden Boy Promotions is hoping to stage Canelo's first headlining pay-per-view with.

In order for that to happen, however, Cotto is reportedly demanding a whopping $10 million guarantee. While that may sound steep for a man coming off of back-to-back losses, Cotto is arguably still the 3rd biggest pay-per-view draw in the sport. Whether or not he actually gets the full amount he's looking for remains to be seen, especially considering that when he fought Mayweather, Cotto reportedly received a $8 million purse. Regardless, if the news out of Puerto Rico is to believed, a deal between Cotto and Alvarez could be finalized in a matter of days (although I wouldn't hold my breath). To make matters even more interesting, Cotto is reportedly in talks with Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach about the possibility of training him for the proposed bout.
