not really feeling this, wax sounds out of place on most these beats, not too many introspective lyrics or story telling in general either, which is where he shines the most
Unfortunatly I feel the same way. I still think A-Wax continues to raise the bar lyrically and the beats are good and the type of beats that seem to be popular now but I agree with what ORO said. For the most part its a good project though.

Buffalo Bill is track I liked the most.

Just another fake fan. Keep listening to Savage Times....

Wax is makin moves.....don't expect him to sound the same all the time. He's did that done that before. H'es moving onward and upward and getting better beats. The production is fuckin dope! Hard to not like this album.

So what's your point? He's my favorite rapper and I'm really feeling this cd.

I am feeling this album way more than ELM and his other newer releases (I like that PieRx comp a lot too though).

Get off my dick.
awax a talented artist so Let him do what he wanna do its his project his way. you more worried about his business then him. stay in fan place and quit having groupie moments like the hoes do.

*trumpet roar*

tap dancing on your azz.

boooowooooowoooo daddadadaaa

*mean ass 80s guitar riff*

Sometimes life seems
Full of complications
Hard to see the forest
For the trees
Just a little brave imagination
Opens up new possibilities
So look behind your eyes
You'll be surprised at what
You see

Life is full of tricky situations
Don't get caught up
In the yesterdays
There's a something
Called imagination
Even little children find a way
So put your hand in mine
I bet we'll open up the door
If we seek we'll find shining
Star's design
Get out the lamp and bring
Our fantasies to light

*keyboard melody*

Been slappin Awax since the start and this shit is dope, never really gave a fuck about the politics as far as choosing sides groupie type shit, just the dudes wordplay and reality spitz.

Straight Gas ,standard procedure like any A-wax CD ..

Only thing that ever disappoints me with an A-wax cd is the fact that I aint gonna be hearing him spit with niggaz like the jack, joe blow,Dubb20,Ampichino,young bossi, and who ever else.

I listened to it only once and so far it feels too mainstream for my taste.

I don't like it when he tries to have melody in his voice cuz he's a rapper not a singer only a few pure rappers got the voice to do that.

I know he's trying to blow up so I'm not going to hate on him for it. The getting skinny, the club beats, the personal stuff and even trying to apeal as a Latin even tho' he isn't latin. Its all a package for him to make the most money as possible or get a deal off the project. I'm sure he's aware that the bay area fan base won't like a lot of this album but I can see his mentality in it.

Still a fan, still bump his shit, just not feeling the production on this one as much as his other shit. But if this is what it takes for him to get to the next level then so be it.
