I dont see how your not gonna ruin his career, what else are you guys gonna do? Some how, some how and I honestly dont know how you did it you have assembled a WR core that is actually weaker than the 9ers right now, maybe you guys get another RB, I think it would make more sense to trade him for draft picks and continue to rebuild
Weaker? Maybe. I think Tate is above average, BMW is still a headcase, Butler showed some flashes at the end of the year last year, if Si9dney could stay healthy, he is better than any WR on SF, and Baldwin was an undrafted rookie that put up numbers better than most other rookies. Durham is another big body, but we dont know what we have. Lockette is a track star with legit 4.3 speed, but is raw.
We can easily draft a WR, or pick one up in free agency. WR's are dime a dozen.

Did a little more reading about the hawks this last year and maybe I didnt give your WR core enough credit I dont agree with the WRS being a dime a dozen at all, I see RBs more that way with their typical 4-5 year span, anyway let me lay out some stats
The Seahawks finished 29th in the NFL in sacks allowed per pass attempt at 9.82%
The Seahawks finished 30th in the NFL in 1st downs per game at 16
Hawks finished 29th in average time of possession at 28:07 per game.
Hawks were 24th in the NFL in 3rd down conversion rate at 33.77%.
28th in goal-to-go conversions at 52.38%.
I couldnt find any stats on dropped passes other than you guys had the least in the NFL through the first three games, the reason why Lynch in Seattle really kills me and thus my time to write all this crap is that he is the total package, hes a solid if not great RB but more than that he brings fans to the stadium, if it wasnt skittles it was gonna be somethin else hes just a real down to earth dude so I would like to see him prosper and I think he would of done a little better in Buffalo even tho he probably likes Seattle better

Trufant Released
Veteran cornerback Marcus Trufant was released by the Seahawks today.
Trufant, the team’s first-round draft choice in 2003 out of Washington State, started 16 games five times and 15 games two other times in his first eight seasons. But back problems limited him to 10 games in 2009 and four games last season.
“Out of respect for Marcus and his family, we’ve decided to release him today so that he has an opportunity to explore the full window of unrestricted free agency and the options that go along with it,” general manager John Schneider said in announcing the move.
“Marcus has done so much for this organiaztion, but because of changing landscape of the NFL, tough decisions have to be made and this is the correct thing to do at this time.”
Trufant, 31, was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2007 after producing a career-high seven interceptions and 85 tackles. Trufant also became the only cornerback in franchise history to lead the team in tackles in 2004, when he had a career-high 93.
He became expendable because of the development of the team’s younger cornerbacks last season. Brandon Browner played in the Pro Bowl following his first season with the Seahawks, while Richard Sherman was voted to the NFL All-Rookie team after stepping in for Trufant. The club also has the promising duo of Walter Thurmond and Byron Maxwell, who were added in the past two NFL Drafts.
The 11th pick overall in the 2003 draft, Trufant was the longest-tenured member of the Seahawks. He is fifth on the team’s all-time list in interceptions (21) and ranks 10th in career tackles (604).
Trufant went to WSU after being an all-state selection at Tacoma’s Wilson High School.
