The Denver Post reports that the 49ers "appear to be showing the strongest interest" in trading for Brandon Lloyd.
The Patriots and Rams are "also in discussions." Talks will "intensify" late Sunday, and the Broncos are trying to move him before Monday's practice begins. They're still targeting a "mid-round draft pick." Lloyd is familiar with the basic concepts of New England's offense because of his background with McDaniels, who is now the coordinator in St. Louis. Lloyd's best landing spot in terms of fantasy value would likely be with the Rams, where he'd immediately take over as the No. 1 receiver. The 49ers would be a worst-case scenario.

Damn the 9ers got a cakewalk the rest of the way with that schedule and weak ass division. Playoffs FOR SURE. They might even end up having the #2 seed.

Man it's just been crazy how the 9ers visited the Eastern time zone 3 outta the last 4 weeks and won all 3 games. In years past I would basically say they wouldn't have a chance at winning those games. Justin Smith has always been a good pass rusher but he's on another level with Harbaugh coaching.

what hooks up smith this season is that aldon smith soap mcdonald are creating a lot of pressure. so o-lines cant double him all game. last year franklin would do a great job of clogging up the lanes but as far as a pass rusher he was garbage. Knew when we drafted Aldon Smith it would be a huge upgrade to our pass rush, something we have lacked for almost a decade now.

Really gotta congrats the front office for the best draft class in a minute but also cutting clements n getting rogers, bass cut for godwin, all for cheaper, and aldon smith has come in and has done everything that manny lawson couldnt, i mean 4 sacks through 6 games? god damm, and bowman is will be better than Takeo Spikes over time, he was a highly sought after prospect in HS, went to college football powerhouse, and injuries/life deceisions dropped his draft stock, like frank gore, like josh morgan, just great to see the talent put things together

I knew Carlos Rogers would shine with the 49ers and bringing Godwin was just right!

Aldon Smith been killing it though, I wasn't really sure about him at 1st..but he has shown he can be the man!

DAMN! I didn't realize Jared Allen was lighting it up like that. Crazy.

FUCK MIKE CAREY!

DETROIT -- It wasn't a smooth day for referee Mike Carey and his crew Sunday.

And the 49ers felt as if they got the short end of several calls in their 25-19 victory over the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

Receiver Michael Crabtree said Carey had an "attitude." Cornerback Chris Culliver said it seemed as if the officials were "Detroit fans." But tight end Delanie Walker said he wasn't nervous when his go-ahead touchdown was being reviewed.
