Traditionally faeries are not pretty or good looking at all...like in Lord of the Rings or whatever. They trick people into loving them and are some of the foulest looking beasts in the woods lol. Thats why I loved this episode, because of going with the more recent version of faeries they went to the more traditional version. They were harvesting half faeries and using that fruit to hypnotize everyone there into thinking everything was all good...when in reality they were being druged to be kept in line.

That they are fairies (and presumably full-blooded ones) doesn't really make sense when you consider that Sookie is only 1/8th fairy and yet she was able to use her powers on that fairy queen (or whatever she was supposed to be) with substantial affect. How is a diluted fairy able to fend off a pure one? Wouldn't that be like Jessica holding her own in a battle against Russell Edgington? Also, I thought they were supposed to be witches because of the whole poison apple angle, and they had the crooked noses like you see on old fairy tale witches.

I agree. Also, it isn't a werewolf unless the transformation is slow and painful ala An American Werewolf in London. This quick-cgi stuff just isn't cutting it. In True Blood, the werewolves were merely shapeshifters who could only shift into one shape. Pretty fucking lame.

I agree about the werewolves but love the gore in this show so kinda made up for it although last season did suck ass. This one looks more promising, ill wait to watch the 2nd episode on Sunday so its not to far in between episodes

if thats the way they going then cool but in the books the faries are just good looking human type people. i mean everyone else is normal looking if there only partial faries in the tv show so far so i dont see it. but it's whatever as long as the show the rest of the season is like the 2nd episode then i'll be cool with it

Still don't know what to think about this season. All I know is, I hope they finally kill of Tara. She has to be one of the worst characters in tv history. I can't believe she's lasted this long.
