just went fishing, caught one bluegill, a rock bass and 5 saugeye! but of course the big one got away. snapped my line as soon as he took off, he splashed out of the water so at least i got a glimpse of him. good quality time with my son.

I go to Pyramid Lake up here in Sparks, fishing for Cutthroat Trout, the only place in the world that has them. They fight like hell too!! People from all over come here for them.

You're right, The Lahontan Cutthroat is only in Nevada (northern I think) ,and if im not mistaken the World Record for biggest cutthroat trout came out of Pyramid Lake 41lbs.

I'd really like to hit Lake Michigan soon. Water is getting cold and the big trout and salmon are starting to come in. It is a bit of a drive and I'd have to get a good pole/reel/line, but it would be worth it to catch some big fish - course that's the variable part.

Salmon and trout hitting on glow in the dark spoons and kroc's at dawn and dusk.

Ive been out @ the Grizzly Island pier. a month back caught a 24" & 28" strippers also eckley pier couple weekends ago, out by port costa. Seen a dude get a 6'/7' sturgeon, had it up to the bank and snapped the line.
