Hip hop’s biggest crew is Wu-Tang Clan and because of this, their network of affiliates is also very large. Though the Clan originated in New York City, they have affiliates all over the world. In Miami, one of the leading Wu-Tang affiliates is BlackMask, who was working on a new album.
BlackMask last released a new album in 2010, Savage World. Met with a warm reception on the mixtape level, BlackMask has planned his next album this year. While the album may come later this year, BlackMask has made his final contributions to the project. It was unexpected, of course.
Earlier tonight, Hip Hop Vibe learned BlackMask died. Jimmy Kang, a manager for the Wu-Tang Clan, posted on Facebook earlier tonight and he informed the public of the death of BlackMask. Kang said BlackMask will be known for his hard work and also his talent.
