World Famous Photographer D-RAY Releases T-Shirt Collab with TFK Clothing Sunday August 24th

Twenty Four Karats hosts a monthly mixer highlighting a new design release on the 24th of every month and they will be doing a special “Respect the Shooter” launch party Sunday August 24, 2014 from 6pm- 9pm located at 15008 Farnsworth ave,

Female Celebrity photographer D-Ray Archer is turning her camera on those behind the lens as she introduces her new signature line of “Respect the Shooter” T-shirts. She is a legend from the Bay Area but now she is World Famous on the Hip-hop scene. D-Ray’s camera was her calling card and with her strong ties to her community, it has allowed her VIP access where most cameras were not allowed. She began her professional journey with Showcase Magazine and Owner Frank Herrera. D-Ray is also the official photographer for the Thizz Family and The Late Great Mac Dre.

D-Ray gave the world some of its first glimpses and album covers of Bay Area hierarchy including Mistah Fab, Messy Marv, Too Short, MacDre, E-40, Andre Nickatina and virtually every other figure from “The Bay Area”. D-Ray’s photo journalism captured the national arena as the “Lens of the Hyphy movement” which gave the World the it’s first visuals to the Hyphy movement, and as the former West Coast Editor for Ozone Magazine, where she became even more recognized for her raw sharp shooting ability. Celebrities including Drake, Lil Wayne, Nikki Minaj, SnoopDogg, Akon, Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle and many more make it a point to stop and pose for her lens.

Having captured street visuals since she began shooting, D-Ray wanted to celebrate her fellow shooters who give the world a view through the lens and who, like her, capture moments in history. “I always say time is something you don’t get back” explains D-Ray, ” That’s why I like to freeze the moment in time as a reminder to always cherish life. Great shooters capture shots that tell a story for generations so you have to respect someone who can immortalize a story through a picture so I want all my fellow photographers to get the respect they deserve.

To help pay homage to the fellow sharp shooters D-Ray and Street Art Legend known as Mr EF or Ferm, the founder of Twenty Four Karats (TFK) Graffiti Crew and clothing line came together to bring the visuals for “Respect The Shooter” to life. Ferm is known for his street art and murals around the Bay area capturing the essence of the Golden State through her raw Artwork and designs.
