Woodpile is coming straight out of the hot sun of Arizona and for years have been reppin’ the underground rap scene. For three albums they were signed to C-Bo’s West Coast Mafia Records, but before they were signed to Bo-Loc’s label they had a relationship with Strange Music.
Recently Woodpile was a guest of Prezident Bejda’s Murder Master Music Show and when asked about their relationship with Strange Music right at around 29:36 into the interview Woodpile made some serious claims about Tech N9ne, Prozack,and Strange Music as a whole.
Diesoul of Woodpile says they opened up shows for Tech N9ne, but things started to get a little strange leading to threats from Travis, confrontations, and even Woodpile being locked out of a video shoot at Paramount Studios after a confrontation with Strange Music CEO Travis O’Guin.
Diesoul said that Travis threatened him over the phone so Diesoul told Travis
“When I see you, you are either gonna shake my hand and apologize or I am going to kick your fat fuckin’ ass!”
Next thing you know Woodpile ends up at a Tech N9ne video shoot at Paramount Studios where they say Prozak is hiding, and Travis O’Guin is confronted. In addition they speak on Prozak not showing up to a show with claims of being afraid of Diesoul’s threats.
