Dropping alongside his second album, ‘Juice’, J-Fresh releases the video for ‘Lock Down’ featuring Predz UK, Yus, and Tomy Turner, exclusively via GRM Daily.
‘Lock Down’ is available to stream/download now alongside the full ‘ Juice’ album and hosts a hard and heavy line-up of the UK urban music scenes favourites including Swiss, Monkstar and Ayo Beatz. J-Fresh’ producers palette is demonstrated in the range of productions that make up ‘Juice’ as he incorporates trending elements of Trap and new age grime, which includes Caribbean elements and even some underlying tones of East Coast Hip Hop, showcased on the heavy hitting ‘Die Young’ (topped with the vocals of Swiss).
As J-Fresh continues to ‘Lock Down’ his status as a producer/DJ in the scene, his latest record continues to elevate his position. Since premiering with DJ Target on BBC Radio 1Xtra, being added straight to the Kiss Fresh playlist and the video hitting the Internet courtesy of GRM Daily, the video for ‘Lock Down’ has already received 10,000 views within its first 3 days of being available. Comments are dropping across the video as fans are “waiting for this to blow” with one stating it “sounds like a banging summer track?”, pointing to the fact the single could be his biggest to date.
Seeing in album release date with an epic guestmix on Sir Spyro’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show on Friday 20th April (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09xp3vy), J-Fresh smashed out a set that gave fans a taste of what is to come on his 16-date tour that kicked off at the weekend and covers all corners of the UK, taking in venues such as XOYO in London.
