Tupac Shakur biopic is now entering its final negotiations with Morgan Creek Productions and Emmett Furla Films, with the press release announcing that the film will be produced by James G. Robinson, David Robinson and LT Hutton, along with Randall Emmett and George Furtla.

With its production scheduled to begin next year in Atlanta, the movie will focus on the life of Tupac and his “politically charged lyrics, inspired by his parents’ activism as Black Panthers in the ’60s and early ’70s.”

The upcoming project features Tupac Shakur’s mother Afeni as executive producer, following her involvement with Shakur’s past two albums and Tupac-based musical, Holler If You See Me.
