With the release of her Valifornication project and accompanying tour both coming in June, Taylor Gang’s Raven Felix continues to build upon her growing momentum and releases “Bet They Know Now” featuring Taylor Gang head Wiz Khalifa.
Felix’s recent release “If You Only Knew” featuring Rob $tone has accumulated 1.5 million streams in just over a month. Her viral smash “Hit The Gas”, which was the lead song in Mike Epps 2016 movie Meet The Blacks has 7.5 million views on the video and over 10 million overall on Youtube, along with 3 million streams. Her DJ Kronic collabo “Feel That” has 2 million views.
Raven Felix has also had music appear on HBO’s Ballers, Chelsea Handler’s Chelsea Does, The movie Laid In America, ABC’s Mistresses and more.
Since dropping out of High School at 16 years old to help support her mother, Raven Felix has been on an amazing journey to make something out of nothing. Using her music to tell her story, the young star teamed up with Taylor Gang’s DJ Bonics, producer Tekneek, and longtime music marketing vet Charley Greenberg, and quickly began turning heads. One of the people taking notice was hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, who soon joined the team.
At just 20 years old, the fast rising star has already collaborated with some of music’s biggest stars, performed in front of 100k people at Wrestlemania, been featured on TMZ Live with Harvey Levin, joined The High Road Tour this summer with Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg, and was just named one of Complex’s Top New Artists in America.
The growing buzz around Raven initially caught the attention of superstar Wiz Khalifa in 2015, who quickly made her the newest member of Taylor Gang, becoming a key mentor in her career.
In 2016, Raven’s song “Work, Drink, F*ck, Sleep” was used extensively for the launch of Chelsea Handler’s Netflix series Chelsea Does. Her DJ Kronic collaboration “Feel That” was also featured on the current season of HBO’s Ballers.
Raven also recently landed the lead single in Mike Epps and George Lopez’s new movie Meet The Blacks with her Snoop Dogg and Nef The Pharaoh collab “Hit The Gas.” The music video includes appearances from Epps, Lopez, and comedians Michael Blackson, and Lil Duval. The song also serves as the lead single from Felix’s upcoming project Valifornication.
