SXSW 2017 officially starts today! Unlike previous years, the buzz around this year ebs and flows depending on the day or the conversation. Yet that hasn’t deterred us from putting together our annual SXSW Music guide, like in the countless years before. 2017 marks my 7th year at SXSW, and 5th annual guide. Every year when this festival rolls around I put out the list that shuts it down. Don’t know what hip-hop shows to RSVP for? Where to get free food? Free booze? Or even what’s available?
