Scoe, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, is an artist known for his high energy music, clever wordplay and infectious hooks, consequentially inheriting the nickname “Captain Hook” due to his ability to come up with catchy hooks within a few minutes of hearing a beat. Qualities which resulted in him sharing the stage with established names such as E40, Snoop Dog, Ludacris, Lil Boosie, Webbie, Gorilla Zoe & Young Dro. Scoe is part of a new breed of spitters that defy the outdated categories within the genre, which has set him a part from other local artists
In 2015, after serving time for his role in a drug conspiracy, which attracted some media attention, including a full length interview/feature with the counterculture media giants Noisey/Vice Magazine, Scoe connected with producer Alkota new label imprint Bad Agenda to release his latest single/visual entitled “YOLA”
produced by long time collaborator and Bad Agenda beatsmith Rawbeatzz. “Y OLA” is taken from his upcoming extended play “Breaking Bad” inspired by the hit TV show. Scoe continues to pave his own lane, in hopes to bring his music to a broader audience in 2015.
