Jak Lizard has released his debut project, the Shine To Rise EP. The collection is a kaleidoscopic journey through r&b, soul, rap and more, while delivering everything from sun-soaked vibes to heart-worn introspection. With executive production from GRAMMY-winner Ivan Jackson (of Brasstracks), the record was also produced and co-written with frequent collaborator Itamar Gov-Ari with support from Gabe Monro (Candid Music Group) and features rising NYC artists S’natra and Joanna Teters.

Jak’s world is a vibrant melting pot of sounds, shapes, colors and words to match his exuberant stage presence and genre-hopping sound which flourishes on Shine to Rise with tracks ranging from hip-hop and heartbreak (“Much to Me”) to doo-wop and euphoria (“Can I Stay”).

Shine to Rise is the first collection of music released by Jak Lizard, whose previous releases of the singles “Sisters (ft.
