Opportunity : “a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something”. These circumstances, are very expensive, rigorous and dangerous to obtain for so many. Speaking my mind on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial; a monument symbolizing freedom for all, was very humbling as a first generation Salvadoran-American. Fortunate enough to inherit said ‘opportunity’, I choose to express my artistry thru music. Being a latino artist in a black genre is synonymous to an immigrant from El Salvador coming to America, we just want opportunity. Opportunity to express myself creatively, represent my roots and take care of my family all at the same time. With all that said I present to you “Heads of State”.
