Oakland’s Urban Gamers League Kicks Off With The Halftime Football Challenge

$1500 Cash Prize and Bragging Rights As the Best Madden Player in the Bay Area at Stake

Oakland, CA – The Urban Gamers League (UGL) kicks off with the “Halftime Football Challenge” on November 5, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at  Halftime Sports Bar. The single-elimination tournament consists of five rounds, with the top 16 registered players walking away with exclusive giveaways and/or cash prizes. The ultimate victor will win a $1500 cash prize and bragging rights as the best Madden player in the Bay Area. UGL’s inaugural event will ultimately position 32 of the best Madden 17 video game players in Northern California against one another in a battle of wits, football knowledge, and skill.  Despite the urban flair, this tournament is not for “faint of heart” gamers,  but rather for players that are dedicated to dominating their opponent and showing no mercy.
