Los Angeles Rapper Blueface Arrested In Connection With Freeway Shooting

Police have arrested up-and-coming rapper Blueface after a shooting broke out on Friday night in Newhall.

According to SignalSCV, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are currently investigating the vehicle-to-vehicle shooting that took place on Friday night, resulting in the subsequent arrest of the L.A. rapper.

“There is one male adult in custody on a felony charge of shooting at the occupied vehicle,” said a spokeswoman for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

According to witnesses and deputies on the scene, the dispute broke out between the two groups at a nearby gas station at Sierra Highway and Newhall Avenue, resulting in one of the vehicles shooting at the other party.

The two parties reportedly fled the scene, with the vehicle containing Blueface eventually crashing on the southbound side of Highway 14. No injuries were reported by emergencyofficials on the scene.

Following the crash, deputies searched the car and recovered evidence, said Lt. Leo Bauer of the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

“We recovered a handgun and multiple shell casings from two different locations,” Bauer said Friday night.
