Solar, a former business partner, and producer for the late rapper Guru of the hip hop / rap group Gang starr, visited Allah School in Mecca, and sat down with INFMEGA to discuss the topics of his new book ” Moment of Truth”. A title that barrows from Guru’s 5th album with DJ Premier as the group Gang Starr in 1998. Solar discusses his history as a 5%, how he grew up in the streets of medina (Brooklyn). He built on his favorite degrees of 120 lessons, and how it related to his relationship with Guru. Solar also discusses some of the controversy surrounding his relationship with Guru, and his untimely death. As well as some the controversy with Dj Premier over the the rights to Guru’s music. DJ Premier recent came to Allah school in Mecca to shoot a music video with Fab 5 Freddy and Guru’s Son for a Posthumous Gang Starr Song called “Family and Loyalty” off the album “One of the Best yet”. Which Solar was not happy about, having voiced his ideas of how he though things should go a few months earlier
