Gillie Da Kid Shows Fans A Different Side Of The Philly Artist In New Video For“Make It Home”

PHILADELPHIA, PA (Sept. 24, 2015)  — Gillie Da Kid (Relumae Records) gets thoughtful and real in his new video for the mid-tempo single “Make It Home” off of his buzzed about “King of Philly 3” mixtape. The Philly rap artist showcases his singing skills on the track laced with his well-known storytelling based on his real life as a non-stop hustler. With melancholy lyrics like, “I’m just praying to the Lord, hope this ain’t the day that I don’t make it home,” Gillie Da Kid highlights the other side of his life, away from the glitz and glamour.

After releasing his heralded King of Philly 3 mixtape, featuring The Game, Waka Flocka, Jadakiss, Trae Da Truth, and more, Gillie Da Kid went on to perform on the national “Get Loud” tour with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and released several new singles including the hit song “Tattoo” featuring Jeremih. The indie rap star has been in the studio recording new music and recently co-sponsored the “Bars Over Bullshhhh” radio documentary and promo tour hosted by HipHopOnDeck.com.

Catch Gillie performing at the East Coast Tsunami Fest this Friday, Sept. 25th at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, with the likes of Wu-Tang, Mobb Depp and Body Count.
Stay tune for more details on his highly anticipated album set to be released October 23, 2015.?
