Willie D of the groundbreaking rap group Geto Boys is now an advise columnist. The column befittingly titled, Ask Willie D will officially first appear online this Thursday at the alternative weekly newspaper, The Houston Press website followed by a paper version one week later. Willie D said he created the column as a way to directly communicate with fans and others seeking advise on everything from relationships to parenting, politics to bullying and more. This is not his first go at lending his talents to journalism. Willie D is a former contributing writer for vice.com where he penned the satirical political column, Filibustin’ With Willie D. Plans are also underway to syndicate the column in other U.S. and foreign markets.
