Floyd “Money” Mayweather Sells Las Vegas Studio Bay Area Legend J-Diggs

Super Welterweight champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather is throwing in the towel on his music career and he’s handing over the keys to his Philthy Rich Recording studios to Bay Area Rap legend J-Diggs. Most notably known as the youngest American Gangster from the popular BET series, Diggs and his partner, producer Bryan Dobbs- P.K.A. -Wino (Coolio, Montell Jordan) have acquired ownership of the popular Las Vegas based studio and have already begun renovations and changed the name to 702 Studios. As the owner of his own record label for over a decade (Thizz Entertainment) J-Diggs plans on revamping the state of the art studio and providing a platform for artists to be inspired to create great music in a high-end facility. “I’ve had my own label for a long time and now adding this studio which already has a great reputation in these parts just adds to the empire we’re building over here.” Says the CEO.

The studio which has been a favorite recording place for artists in the Vegas area, will become home to Thizz Entertainment artists and will be open to the industry at the top of the year. Preparing to release his 9th studio album “Izm 101”, on January 1, 2013, J-Diggs will host an all-star grand re-opening and album launch party to usher in the new year and the beginning of new episode in the Thizz Entertainment movement.
