Eminem’s Shady Records Signs Buffalo’s Conway & Westside Gunn

Hard work has paid off for Buffalo-based Griselda Records artists nem

Complex further reports that the official collaboration marks the first time a Buffalo rap group has secured a distribution agreement with a major label.

Although the brothers do much of their business out of Atlanta, Ga., recently, their pride as Buffalo natives emanates from their Twitter accounts and this extended video by Revolt. Language in the video below may not be suitable for work.

“The style and energy of Griselda Records, Gunn and Conway are infectious,” Eminem told AllHipHop.com on Friday. “We can’t wait to put them on the platform they have earned and deserve.”

Neither artist was immediately available for comment.

Complex included Gunn and Conway in its “17 Artists to Watch in 2017,” describing the duo as follows: “The tough-minded rappers from Buffalo have quietly become the underground favorites thanks to projects like “FLYGOD” and “Hitler Wears Hermes IV” which don’t slouch in their use of dusty soul loops and feature fellow intricate New York MCs Roc Marciano and Action Bronson.”

Westside Gunn and Conway haven’t performed frequently in Buffalo of late – the latter performed Oct. 31 in Mohawk Place as a Halloween headliner. Below is a sample of their music as Hall n’ Nash from 2015 [language NSFW].
