An East Bay rapper arrested last week for a probation violation remains in custody at a Contra Costa jail Tuesday, according to county records.

At 8:42 p.m. Thursday, Hercules police officers carried out a check on a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Paradise Drive. The vehicle’s front seat passenger, identified as Charles Kente Williams, 39, turned out to have an outstanding warrant.

Officers took Williams into custody without incident, arresting him for a probation violation and booking him into Martinez County Jail.

Williams, who goes by the stage name Keak da Sneak, was previously arrested last September on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and evading a peace officer, as well as an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

No one from the Keak Da Sneak camp has confirmed nor denied the current allegation’s at hand. We will do our best to provide more accurate information as it comes along.
