Diar Lansky – Die4 Productions Presents – Breaking Bad

Up and coming rapper turned producer, Diar Lansky, a native of Riverside, California, is currently gearing up for the August 20th release of his Breaking Bad: The Mix-tape.

On the seventeen track project, Lansky has recruited West Coast vets Binky Mack [title track “Breaking Bad”], of Allfrumtha I fame, and Boo Kapone [“Mind is Gone”], Mr. Errol Tate [“Waiting”], KT the Legend [“Feelin Right”], in addition to his very own Die4 — a production company started back in 2006 with partner Madd Phour — team; J Soas [“The Show”], City a.k.a. JR [“Full Measure”], Wayne G [“Dumb High”], as well as the aforementioned Phour [“Bullet Points”].

“I chose the title Breaking Bad for one HUGE reason,” Diar admits, before further explaining, “In the show, he [Walter White] makes the best product ever because he knows the history of the product, its chemical compounds, where it has been and where it needs to go. I feel that way about Hip-Hop nowadays, and feel I’m a chemist when it comes to the chemicals to make super raw Hip-Hop. And also, “Breaking” the limits as far as lyrics, beats and what a mix-tape should be.”
Lansky basically sums it all up with this, “There are 17 tracks of real Hip-Hop. I also happen to be a white rapper and don’t sound like Eminem. Been rapping since I was about twelve, was an avid freestyler, got into producing when I was about seventeen and it was a wrap from there, literally! Grew up a graffiti artist and Hip-Hop advocate in areas most white people wouldn’t dare to go. Always been true to my roots and where I’m from, but most importantly where I’m going,” and then concludes, stating very matter-of-fact, “Real music is the key to success and that will be shown. This team [Die4 Productions] has lived, bled, breathed music since day one. Now putting all our elements together to rise to that next level in music and life. Take a journey with us, and help keep real Hip-Hop alive and well!”
