Bronze Nazareth: Babygrande Ruined Wu-Tang Meets Indie Culture Part 2! (Part 12)

Bronze Nazareth — a rapper and producer from Grand Rapids, Michigan and a member of the Wu-Tang family — explains why Wu-Tang Meets Indie Culture Volume 2: Enter the Dubstep disappointed fans, saying it strayed too far from what made the original project successful. He points out that the album relied heavily on remixes rather than original performances, with few artists actually rapping over the production, and feels key contributors weren’t properly consulted. Bronze also discusses issues surrounding The Wisemen’s second album Children of a Lesser God, citing a lack of promotion and questioning whether it came down to poor decisions or something more intentional. Reflecting on his relationship with Babygrande at the time, he describes it as completely strained and dysfunctional.
