Now that 38 Spesh’s buzz is elevating himself out of the underground, he has decided it’s time to put the spotlight on his label, TCF Records, and it’s top notch roster. Trust Tape 3 drops April 15th and the title should illustrate that Spesh has been pushing this venture for years already. Emcees Klass Murda and Green Double have stayed down since the get go, while the Queen of TCF, Che Noir is a newer signing. Further, Benny The Butcher was once signed to the imprint and while he reps Griselda now, he is still close with 38. He gets down on 8 (!) of the 14 cuts on Trust Tape 3.
There’s no question, the second single “Business As Usual” will be adopted by real bosses as their new anthem after just one listen. The cut highlights Klass Murda’s hook game, Benny’s hustler how-to bars, and Che Noir’s strident, self-assured flow. What’s more, the TCF CEO produces this piano-driven banger…and yes, it’s got his trademark horns.
