Producer/Engineer Poly Rob teams up with South Memphis rapper Gambino to drop a 7-song EP. Titled “Married To This Life”, comes off as a sound documentary of what the deepest part of the street life is.
Gambino embodies what it is to be called “a man trapped in his sins” throughout this whole project. Songs like “Snakes”, and “The Day The Law Came” talks about how things can take a turn for the worst. While tracks like “My Kitchen” give you a heavy-in-the-trap feel, title track “Married To This Life” ft Lovey Jean is a straight movie soundtrack.
