East Palo Alto, CA’s own 02 presents the first video “Cadi Lean” off of his freshly released album Cadi Lean EP. The visual, directed by acclaimed producer/director Derek Jones features 02 and Erk traversing the San Francisco Bay Area in classic big-body Cadillacs. This is riding music at its finest.
02′ aka “The Good Bad Guy” has been honing his skills in front of crowds since he was a small child. His gift of touching souls with his words was recognized very early on. Over the years, he’s grown as an emcee and in just three years since dropping his first album, 02 has achieved a few milestones including appearing on MTV2’s SuckerFreestyle segment in 2009, opening for KRS-One and winning the PBS W.A.V.E AWARD in 2010 for Best Entertainment Program for his live showcase of his debut album CHARLES.
O2’s rhymes are where the street and intellect meet. Haling from the dangerous streets of East Palo Alto and educated at Clark Atlanta University’s prestigious Mass Communications department, 02 has seen the best and worst of both worlds.
