Texas A&M at Oklahoma State

There have been pundits that say TAMU is "back" this year, and Jarod Johnson is a darkhorse Heisman candidate. OSU has beat up some lousy teams, but only looked dominate in one of those. The real story here is Kendall Hunter, and if you dont now who he is, you will after this game. He is the best RB in the nation, that no one talks about.

No. 16 Miami (FL) at Clemson

Clemson has been an enigma, as they lost a lot of seniors and are trying to find their way back to the top of the ACC. Miami had high expectations coming into the season, but showed they weren't ready just yet after getting their ass kicked by tOSU. Clemson nearly stole a game from Auburn, but just fell short. Kyle Parker will always give Clemson a chance to win.

No. 21 Texas vs. No. 8 Oklahoma

Changing the name from Shootout to Rivalry seems a bit TOO PC, but its still the same nasty attitude towards one another no matter what. Oklahoma cant seem to figure out how good they are. While beating the brakes of FSU, they have struggled against every other team they have faced thus far, including USU. Texas is coming off another Bruin beat-down in Austin, dropping 15 spots in the polls.

No. 11 Wisconsin at No. 24 Michigan State

After suffering a heart attack 2 weeks prior, MSU HC Mark Dantonio will be back on the sidelines, which will most likely have this team fired up. They have two very good, young RB's in Edwin Baker and Le'von Bell, who help relieve the pressure from Cousin's arm. As a note, Chris Borland is out for the season.

Arizona State at Oregon State

If your a Pac-10 fan, this is a very good measuring stick game. ASU has proved to be more competitive than most thought, and OSU is going through its usual early-season losing skid. With James Rodgers out with a concussion, Katz is going to have to find a way to grow up and make more consistent plays and Threet for ASU is going to need to cease the turnover bug from infecting his team.

No. 7 Florida at No. 1 Alabama

Alabama is as advertised, with Engram healthy and a vicious hitting defense. Florida has seemed to been lost early on this year on offense with no Tebow, but have come to life a bit in the last game and a half. Playing in Tuscaloosa may prove to be a bit much for Brantley, and playing mistake free football will need to happen for UF to have a chance.

Notre Dame at Boston College

Rivalry game. Reason this is here is because BC finally benched Shienske, who has played horribly this year and will be replaced most likely with true Frosh Rettig, whom they wanted to RS this year. Being at home will help, but look for ND OLB Manti Te'o to be in his grill all day.

No. 22 Penn State at No. 17 Iowa

PSU seemed to a be a bit sluggish in back-to-back games against MAC teams, while Iowa has gotten it done properly against weaker foes, but getting beat at home by a up and coming UA team. Royster is going to find it tough to run against a very stout Iowa defense, and Stanzi has looked great thus far, even in the loss.

GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 9 Stanford at No. 4 Oregon

This game is more or less for the leader to emerge from the pack (pun intended). Stanford took a minute to get going against ND, but ended up routing the Irish. Oregon got tested fairly well in Tempe, punting a number of times and scoring "only" 28 points on offense. Luck looked great at times, and maybe a bit off on others, but the highlight of the day was MLB/FB scored an offensive TD, and then a defensive TD...all in a 13 second span. Stanford has been the most physical team in the Pac this year, while Oregon has been the quickest scoring and highest scoring team in the nation.

I'm sort of in shock Stanford cracked the top 10. Stanford has a better defense imo then Oregon and thats why Stanford will be victorious

Damn Michigan St. gets props of the day. Going for it on 4th and goal on almost the 2 to put the game away against the 11th ranked team in the country takes a lot of balls especially since it was a pass

Stanford vs. Oregon is a hell of a game right now. Look at Alabama straight strapping Florida again. Too bad both games are scheduled at the same time.

Damn, if you look at the TD Oregon just scored (5:41 2nd QTR) when Thomas threw the pump fake, Oregon had THREE receivers open when they showed the replay. Thats really saying something because I think Stanford's proved their defense aint no punks.

Once Stanford's #1 receiver went down they ran out of options. Luck threw that silly interception too in the third that killed them as well. Hard to say to me at least either team deserves to lose. This game is entertaining as hell. Oregon just edges out Stanford with that killer offense.
