I always knew the Playstation 3 would eventually win out. Why buy an add-on when you can get one already built-in and from the official company that created the idea in the first place. Get the official thing, go with Sony.

PS3 has a LONG way to go before theres a takeover. But why buy a gaming system for more money if you don't game? Not everyone that watches blue ray movies is a gamer.
that site is always being critized by all parties and besides that 360 has a had a year headstart whith no next gen compitition at that! 360 sales have slowed significantly and devolopers are already complaining about lack of space on a 4.6gb disc and making games that will work for 360 owners who may not have an HDD at all! Sony was serious about making a system that would be a complete home entertainment sytem for years to come.

I'm not biased I own 2 360's and 1 PS3 I just use my PS3 alot more lately due to all its capabilities and interaction with my PSP streaming video and movies and PS1 games. oh and one of my 360's recently died and has the red ring of death so now I have to take my 360 off my boat inconviently till my 360 gets fixed thankfulkly its winter so im not on the water too much

A few other sites show pretty similar stats, and if sales have slowed they have slowed for both by the looks of the weekly sales. Lack of space hasn't really hindered development too much as say slow load times especially year after year big games like madden sucking ass on ps3. Xbox has a much larger game library, awesome streaming from pc capabilities, better online play (minus the last week or two). If PS3 catches up, by then their will probably the next round of consoles. Right now the PS3 is a pretty Blue Ray player and oldschool PS emulator of some sorts. All and all, at the end of this year we will all see the results. I'm really interested to see if MS picks up Blue Ray support, not that I really care since I'm not really into watching movies at home.

cmon now what did 360 have that first year? the games were ugly ass hell nothing started looking good till gears of war . XBOX live is superior in most major games Halo3 call of duty 4 but I still hate paying for that shit. when socom 1 and 2 were out on ps2 I had like 3 playstations going at one time for free online. now when Socom confrontation comes out for PS3 I will be doing that shit again for free! no way would I buy 3 XBOX live subscriptions just to play with all my sytems so thats how I feel about that, Im beta testing HOME for Sony right now and when that drops for free its game over XBOX live

With online you pay for what you get. Quality online play is worth the few bucks IMO. Home is a cool concept, but I'm not too sure it's going to K.O. XBL. It looks like more of an online social pool, I can only imagine how many "A.S.L.?'s" are going to pop up every minute .I'm just into getting into a game of madden or halo for an hour here and there.
