i respect our military for the fact that most dont understand that they signed there life to be pawns.. IF there was a real reason to be at war, like there were foreign country ships takin over the ports in the bay and locking shit down, then id pick up a strap and go do what i gotta, id be fighting for my lil grlz future way of life and i gotta do my part.. ... but to be sent to a foriegn land to die for a man who sent me there without any proof showing why i should be there... i wouldnt want to be in a position to die for some crooked fux agenda..my life is way more important then that

I was in the military for 6 1/2 years and got out mostly because of this shit going on right now. When you are in they try to feed so much bullshit in your head and try to control what you see and hear from outside sources. Our higher ranked officers would bold faced lie to people saying who we hit and shit to try to boost morale up. I was in when Sept 11 hit and it felt like we were doing a good thing till I was able to get the full story after we left. Seems like we tore up a whole country for revenge and the people of that country had pretty much nothing to do with the sept 11 attacks. Now that our country has gotten themselves into a big mess that they can never clean up, it just makes me wonder whats next. It probably won't get any better.
the fucked up thing is us goin in to Iraq and takin out saddam could very well have prevented a much bigger and worse terrorist attack on US soil but we would never know for sure since our troops gave up their lives to keep everyone safe.
Woodies very own family could have been saved because of our troops, yet he still chooses to assume just like all you other people. hindsight is NOT always 20/20. there could very well be more out there that everyone has missed and for all we know Bush could have been more right than we think.
I'm in no ways a bush supporter but I have a serious problem with anyone that looks down on our troops because if we had no troops, America would not be around right now and there would be no democracy.

I lived through 2 wars in the Balkans, my grandfather was a General and my father was a Major, and let me tell you the advice my father gave me is to NEVER go to war under any circumstances. why do i get the feeling that no matter what the gov. does u guys will always be against it...they have more security in public places...(its a police state,the n.w.o.)....not have more security and sum1 detonates a bomb killing innocent people,like in spain...(its couse the gov. doesnt care about us,thats why there was not enough security).
a lot of good points made on this thread, I agree with everyone saying fuck the war and bush is indeed making this a more violent world. We are invading THEIR SOIL...KILLING THEIR PEOPLE, they are dort poor with no food, do you really think Bush wants to spend that much resorces to "protect" us against these people who cant even feed themselves fully?
