thats a 320 convert from a flac i DL'd so as good as it gets

i feel like hes wearing his stevie wonder & quincy jones influence on his sleeve more on this one. more refined production compared to the spontaneous shred sessions on coastal grooves. very jazzy & tropical sound throughout.

Good lookin out with the link. downloaded it this morning and gave it a solid listen. I love it.
This reminded me more of his home recording mixtape, which is exactly what I wanted to hear from him.

this was pretty feature heavy when you think about it but dev's voice & vision was in every second of it. great flow & pacing too. no sophomore slump at all.

I like the studio session feel to it with there being so many features. My only complaint would be the lack of the thrasher/shred orange songs like Forget It and I'm Sorry We Lied...
It Is What It Is is what Kanye wanted 808s & Heartbreak to sound like

Do you know if there's song credits out yet? No Right Thing sounds like Sean Nicholas Savage

This album feels nothing like his last work, outside of Youre Not Good Enough. Very experimental, in that is has a lot of different feels to it from song to song. I about shit my pants when Clipped On came up and there was some dude rapping. I could hear the New Jack Swing in some of those songs too. Interesting album. Need to soak it more.
