Old ass Mosley is going to win or at the very least make it a very good fight. He has fast hands, good body punching, a great chin, and one punch knockout power. Manny's defense is not all that good, he was hit and hurt by slow Margarito. I have old man Mosley winning by KO.
as much as i would like to see this happen...its not going to!

have ya'll seen the ass whoopins manny has put on fools lately? he busted up all their faces. and i mean BUSTED UP! somethin' your lover Floyd cannot do.

mosley has no jab and it will more n' likely be his downfall against manny just like it was against floyd.

you only have mosley winning just for the mere fact you hate manny. nothing more and nothing less...just pure hate for the man.

Actually I've stated my reasons many times for Mosley winning the fight. True Manny has been busting up people, but all those guys had the same no defense, flat footed, come forward style. Mosley knows how to fight and he knows how to grab and hold when he gets hurt. The number one reason I believe he can win is the fact that Mosley will not lose the fight on the scales, because he can make 147lb. We will see on May 7th..

I just don't think Shane has the pop anymore. It doesn't seem to me like he thinks he can beat Pacquiao anymore. He did SO much talking about wanting the pac fight before he fought Floyd. He did a grip of talking before fighting floyd. It seems like his will has been taken from him and he wants one more payday

You love Manny too much... it's not like he hasn't had his ass whooped before. Manny didn't bust up Clottey's face did he? He busted up Margarito's face but everybody (including Manny lovers) knew that was going to happen.

When he decides to "prove" he's not on those power pellets like Mayweather likes to call them, let's see what happens when he steps in the ring with a real boxer with real boxing skills. Let's see what happens when he faces the undefeated Floyd "Money" Mayweather.

All boxing threads lead to Floyd Mayweather. You need to quit swallowing Manny's kids and getting offended when people don't kiss up to Manny like you and your boys do.

ok, I'll find the boxing news thread since you don't want the Shane-Manny thread getting high jacked... I just didn't think I had to go through all that but since people's feelings get hurt I'll just follow the rules.

Memo to everyone posting (including myself):

Keep the thread Shane-Manny related! Post your news or new links in the appropriate threads. Thanks.

For part 2 of Floyd's interview and what he thinks about the Mosley vs Pacquiao fight, go to the "boxing news" thread.

Thanks for you participation it's grealty appreciated!

Floyd needs to worry about getting raped in jail. He had his chance to stay in boxing news. Now he's TMZ's poster child.

I have Pacquiao by late round stoppage...not a KO, because Shane's chin is made out of some un-Earthly shit. But more like a Cotto, beatdown stoppage.

I don't think he'll be able to keep up with Manny's footwork honestly.

With that said, I came up on some cheap ass flights through Virgin. May is my birthday month, so I'm going to the fight as a gift to myself. lol...Hello again Vegas.

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Pacman Fever hit MGM Grand this morning with one of the biggest ticket runs in Las Vegas boxing history. Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. PT, 16,000 tickets were sold to the Manny Pacquiao vs. Sugar Shane Mosley world welterweight championship. Barely 1,000 seats remain for Pacquiao’s return to the Fight Capital of the World, where he hasn’t fought since 2009.

“Incredible. Simply incredible,” exclaimed Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum when he heard the news today. “I have never promoted a fight that has sold so many tickets so quickly. Manny Pacquiao never ceases to amaze the world with his achievements. The excitement he generated today with the initial ticket sales makes it feel like fight week already!”

Boxing’s No. 1 pound-for-pound box office attraction and the Fighter of the Decade, Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs), the lone congressional representative from the Sarangani province in the Philippines, defends his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against three-division world champion and future Hall of Famer Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs), of Pomona, Calif. Pacquiao vs. Mosley erupts on Saturday, May 7 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev.

Promoted by Top Rank, in association with MP Promotions, Sugar Shane Mosley Promotions and MGM Grand, remaining tickets to Pacquiao vs. Mosley, priced at $1,000, $750, and $300, can be purchased through Ticketmaster. To charge by phone, with a major credit card, call Ticketmaster (800) 745-3000. Tickets are also available for purchase at www.mgmgrand.com or www.ticketmaster.com . Fucking ticket brokers! We went online literally 20 minutes early to buy the tickets as soon as the clock hit 10am...and just like always, the $300 seats were "sold out" even seconds after they had gone on sale. Had to get the $750 seats, and my pockets are shedding crocodile tears.

If anyone is going to Vegas May 7th weekend for the fight and needs tickets to the fight we're selling 2 of the $750 tix. PM me for details.

What's kind of a trip is that The Bobfather has almost completely shifted the focus of this fight to the whole CBS/Showtime thing, and you really don't hear much at all about people complaining about the matchup anymore. Genius!

As much as I didn't see the benefit of beating up an aged Mosley, I think it will be an entertaining fight just because of the styles. Plus, Shane has the power and always has a puncher's chance.

Here's Manny on Cribs.

ticket sales #'s in boxing are bulls***!!! NEver, ever, ever believe those. I was gonna buy tickets for DLH/Pac just to try and get more than I paid for them on ebay. All the tickets were gone in the first 2 minutes. All they had were the stupid expensive seats up close. Almost all the tickets went to the hotel (MGM was it?) and ticket brokers, almost every single ticket. Technically they were "sold" but those were just bought to be re-sold at a higher rate. I looked at stub hub 30 minutes later and they had as many tickets as you wanted for way higher than the price through ticketmaster.

That fight actually didn't do well from what I heard as far as a live gate and a lot of tickets ended up being given away last minute.
