People need to come to reality floyd is 40-0....
Why does everyone keep bringing this up? Plain and simple. Floyd Mayweather Jr has NOT fought the best opponents available since he moved up to 140+ pounds: Arturo Gatti (RIP), Sharamba Mitchell, Henry Brussels, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir...

In that same time frame Manny has faced: Marco Antonio Barerra, Oscar Larios, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez

Pac-man is a great fighter one of the best right now. Pac-man only has the peoples support right now cause he was fighting the best pound for pound when floyd was in retirement.
No, he has the people's support right now because he's an exciting fighter to watch, and he's humble. Both the complete opposite of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

To be honest floyd jumped in the ring with everybody they said he was dodging before he retired.
No he didn't. He didn't even clear out the best in his own division before he called it quits.

Sugar shane said he didn't wont to fight floyd not the other way around.
Well judging from what happened after Floyd's comeback fight, it looks like the opposite. Floyd is bringing up stuff from years ago...and the fact of the matter is that Shane Mosley is considered the best in the welterweight division...Floyd's division...and he refused to fight him.
Floyd might act like an ass in front of the media just like ali did and all the other greats did but he stay on his A game.
He doesn't just act like an ass. He makes a complete idiot of himself whenever he opens his mouth.

Floyd called out Shane after Shane beat and knocked out Vargas and Shane said that Floyd should go fight Margarito because he needed to go get his tooth fixed and take a vacation.

And I guess taking on De La Hoya at 154 doesn't matter huh...

^^I used to think that too about shane ducking floyd at that time, but after digging around I found out that Oscar de la hoya wanted shane to step aside so he could fight him instead, and oscar is shane's boss. And that's exactly what happened - oscar and floyd fought in 2007 instead of shane.

I've realized that shane is a bad mofo. He doesn't back down or duck no one.

I see, that makes sense.... well then Floyd shouldn't be criticised or accused of ducking Shane when he was actually calling him out to fight.

I'm not saying he should.

My whole thing with Floyd are his choice of fighters at 147. Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, even guys like Kermit Cintron at the time, Joshua Clottey. These were the top guys after floyd fought oscar and during and after ricky hatton. Everyone wanted floyd to fight margarito (and it is a fact that floyd did turn down $7 million to fight Margarito) and/or Cotto.

That's my thing with floyd. He didn't fight the best at 147.

He fought the best at 130 though, and most of his career, just not at 147.

Floyd can't fight everybody.... after he beats Pac-Man the critics will still hate on him. People want these fights to happen because they want to see him lose, not to see a great fight.

don't matter what people say now. It matters what people say when everything is said and done. Ali was hated on for years and years. But when his career was over, and people realized what greatness he achieved he got the respect he deserved.

If money may don't fight the right fighters, historians of the sport wont forget that.

So is PacMan the right fighter? I guess he is until Mayweather beats him huh...

Then it will be back to the same excuses about how he doesn't take on the best fighters.

who you talkin about? Not me, I'll give credit to Floyd if he beats pac convincingly.

Look, haters will be haters. Pac has haters too. Floyd has more haters cuz he makes people hate him that much more, he brings that shit upon himself.

He could have been as loved as Sugar Ray Leonard if he wanted to. But his choice in life was to be an asshole in the public eye. It can be seen as a smart move because everyone pays to see him lose, but at the same time, he should STFU about people hatin on him! lol

So if he doesn't agree does that mean he is on steriods?

Would any body here have doubts about him if he doesn't agree on taking the test?
I wouldn't, that just means he refuses to let Floyd have the upper hand in negotiations. If I was Pac, I would say to May, "ok Floyd, but you have to agree to something for me, like glove type/size or ring size" You know, some shit like that. I think Floyd is just playing a mental game, but at the same time it's obvious he's a little worried about this fight. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's scared or anything like that. It's just the first fight (in awhile) that he's going into, with a some apprehension.

He pulled this shit with JMM too, with the weight agreement though..He had Marquez jump 2 weight classes in order for the fight too be made and then he didn't even make the weight!

Why go above and beyond what's necessary, just to please your opponent? That's a small mental victory for Floyd if he does, unless Pac gets something out of it.
