to date, I don't remember any boxer like Floyd making his opponent look so bad, doesn't matter who it is. at this point it seems like there's no reason for him to have dodged anybody but obviously he hasn't fought nothing but top notch fighters.

now were getting into oh those poor guys they made high dollar just like the guys are today the only difference is the guys back in the day gave us something worth watching. Let me ask you this then why should us as fans pay $50 extra for a stinkin pay per view when these guys arent willing to put on a show. With all shit talkin that was going on and all the hype all i am saying is the fight could have been better it was far from a work of art that boxing used to be they could have still pumped the fight put it on HBO and all would have been good. But NO these guys are all lookin for big paydays that which if anyone of us got could retire and supposively these paydays are so big because they risk soo much what are you risking punch hug break punch hug break big name fighters are the only ones worth watching because they truly believe they have something to prove.

Have money maker floyd fight a kid thats good and has something to prove. Even in the interview after the fight the commentator was asking him about dodging potential challengers and people that could really test his mettle and he skirted that question. Like i said dont expect me to be jumping all over this guys jock saying he is the greatest ever when he dodges any and all competition when a true champion takes all comers

i love how De La Hoya beat the shit out of him and then Chavez would come to the ring with some of his opponents ole butthurt ass bitch. Chavez beat a lot of bums to get that win total to where it is. Mayweather at least hasnt fought a bunch of nonames like Chavez
You were impressed how a young fighter in his prime (Delahoya) beat a legend way past his prime (Chavez)??

Shane and Oscar wasn't talented enough? An undefeated Hatton wasn't talented? Chico Corrales?
tony are you still trying to get back at me for calling you a bandwagon jumper??? look my whole thing i will explain and then i will GTFO of this thread because i guess i havent drank the mayweather kool-aid is this to consider in my opinion some one the G.O.A.T you have to take on all comers whether they are doped up or not. When you start throwing that i just wanna be on a level playing field bull shit you are scared you have looked the beast in the eye and are scared if you think that juicing is why pac man is kicking everybodies ass then why arent you juicing. he aint worried about anything other than getting his ass kicked and IMHO that sounds less like an G.O.A.T and more like a coward!!!!

it wasn't a fluke it's that styles make fights. Shane would have always beat margarito because margarito is so easy to hit and has virtually no defense.

Do you consider Pernell Whitaker one of the greatest of all time or not? Answer me that question.

Most of my fellow Mexican boxers have that NO defence style. I would like to see them step up the defence, then again it's that (I can take your best shot) what make them fight's exciting.

Na man I don't really care about that bandwagon crap....

I just don't see how or why Floyd would be scared of Pacman.
This is gonna continue until they fight.

Pac fans will say Floyd is scared & Floyd's fans claim that Pac is scared and more.

I consider heavy weights in their own class but besides that Mayweather is just as great as any boxer. Him & Leonard are the two greatest of all time in my eyes and I could careless what anybody has to say. May will fight and beat anyone in his prime. Its hard to compare boxers from diff generations as any sport but to me looking at from a standpoint thats what I come up with. He is the best conditioned fighter, best defensive fighter Ive ever seen and the quickest fighter I ever seen. To me that equals the greatest. Yall can continue on but hatin is a siccness. Got Em!!

fuck this thread De La Hoya in his prime would shit on that lil terd that's on steroids that goes by the name of pac man. same goes for loud mouth mayweather.
I hated Delahoya before that fight with Pac and I hated him even more after.LOL

However im gonna have to agree with you on what he would of done to Pac if they fought when DLH was in his prime.

DLH also looked ill and over sucked up when he fought Pac. It's not a excuse I dont even like DLH.

Dela Hoya is the most overrated fighter in the history of boxing! That dude got decisions in fights where he shouldve lost:

Pernell Whitaker was robbed
Ike Quartey was robbed
Feliz Sterm was robbed

Also he lost just about every "big" fight he was in:

Felix Trinidad spanked him
Shane Mosley spanked him twice
Bernard Hopkins murdered him
Floyd "Money" Mayweather spanked him
Manny Pac spanked him

That dude was a good fighter but very overrated in my opinion. He doesnt belong with likes of Mayweather, Pac, or Mosley. Now lets keep that chump out of this as we are talkin about great fighters and the greatest in Money Mayweather! Got Em!!

I somewhat agreed till u said Trinidad spanked, he did punch himself out in that fight but made Trinidad look silly the first 8 rounds at least. he was the first to expose trinidad. Dlh's resume is pretty good, no he didn't win all of them but he fought everyone.
