Crazy weekend in Vegas!

We scored some pretty decent seats for the fight for pretty decent price.

Let me first say this. There were at least 500 empty seats that I saw, from where I was sitting in the arena. They were even offering COMPED tickets on Friday and Saturday for MGM guests, and I know there were a few hundred, maybe even thousand people who got to see the fight this way.

Undercard was ehh...Saul Alvarez at 19 looks to be someone to keep an eye on. That was a halfway decent fight.

As for the main event, I had a feeling and a few of you called it as well...that Mosley would just be looking for the big shot. He tagged Floyd hard in the 2nd but after that, only seemed interested in looking for that big right. Totally abandoned the game plan, which ultimately led to him getting his ass kicked.

All credit to Floyd, who put on a fucking masterful performance. I was thoroughly impressed, even though I'm one of the guys who thinks that too much stock was put into Mosley's last win against Margarito.

I think the 4-1 odds were on point. Shane had only a puncher's chance to win this fight.

Floyd's timing and spacing were just amazing, and he even showed glimpses of the Floyd who used to terrorize the lower weight divisions. I can honestly say that this guy is a fucking machine, and even though he doesn't produce the same type of fireworks that he used to...I have to respect and appreciate how great he is. (Don't get it twisted, I still think he's a fag)

Obviously, we all want to see Pacquiao-Mayweather next...and I'm hoping they can get it done, somehow...behind closed doors. Fuck the bullshit.

I didn't take too many pics cause I only had my Blackberry with me this weekend, forgot my fuckin cam like a moron. :dead:

Good stuff, man. I'm hoping to get to the Diaz/Marquez fight on July 31 @ the Mandalay Bay. First live event for me; hopefully there's a good undercard.

$350 for floor seating, so I'm gonna snatch 2 of those up and get there, if everything works out as planned. Marquez is going to fuck his ass up again, send him back to law school.

It's simple... after Margarito got busted to trying to cheat, Vargas tested positive, and Shane admitting under oath that he had used PED's, Floyd is having a hard time trusting the sport now. Does that mean he's accusing Pacman of doping? Nope, but he wants to make sure that he's not on some kind of PED's before stepping into the ring. And all he wants is proof. So if Pacman wants to really fight, then he should just take the test to prove to the world that he's not on some PED's and the fight will jump off.

I don't see why Pacman didn't agree to the 14 day cut off period, he would have had two weeks to recover from the blood being taken away. He wouldn't have had to worry about blood being drawn for two weeks.

For the record, Floyd will beat Pacman down and it would be another one sided victory for Floyd.

^ Tony, Floyd Jr, Floyd Sr, and Roger have all been on camera blatantly accusing Pacquiao of using PED's.

I do agree though. Pacquiao should just agree to the 14 day cutoff. Cause that's the fight everyone wants to see. Mayweather-Mosley was a good consolation prize, but fuck that.

We wanna see these two Titans clash.

BTW Tony, if Floyd wins...that's what he was supposed to do. Manny isn't even a real welterweight. So IMO, Manny has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Complete opposite for Floyd.

I wonder why Floyd didn't demand that Marquez take the tests, too, since Marquez made a big jump in weight for that fight. Must have been on steroids.

^More excuses. Floyd is right. He beats Shane, then folks say Shane was old. If/when he beats Manny, then folks will say "that's what he was supposed to do".

If the Mayweather's blatantly accused Pac of taking PED's who cares man. The Mayweather's are always talking, that's how they get down.

If those are excuses, what are your ''reasonings'' for Floyd demanding the tests?

EXCUSES.

You're funny. Poor Floyd, he was so concerned about the state of boxing, with the sport he loves, (insert tear), with all of the bad men tarnishing his precious sport, with the cheating, the lies, the injustice, that he decided to single-handedly clean up the sport, and by God he's going to do it, not for himself, but for you, for me, for the children in the ghetto, the suburban soccer moms, for America.

God bless Floyd...err, America.

floyd has looked huge in his last two fights. He's refused to take the unofficial day of the fight weigh in's that HBO likes to have, so we don't know for sure but I'm guessing he was around 160 pounds or more on Saturday. He has really filled out over the past couple years.

Tony, I've said I think floyd beats pac but I said a lot of it has to do with the size, I said floyd would be too big and too strong. There is truth to that because obviously there is a size difference.

Pac would do much better than shane though, that's for sure. For one, it would be a lot harder for floyd to figure out pac's timing, since his speed is on par with floyd. Second, pac is so difficult to predict he's unorthodox unlike shane who was pretty predictable with his punches. Pac would be coming from all angles and at times when you think he's done throwing, etc. Cant wait for the fight it's going to be a good one.

FUCK YOU
pac actually came with the shit first before floyd.. he wanted the ring to be a certain size,he wanted to pick the glove size and he wanted all that money per pound over.. And floyd and his camp agreed... All they asked in return was one thing a simple blood test from a cat with hella tattoos.. two weeks before the fight... I mean come on man real is real..
its more then one simple blood test they can get as much blood as they want when ever they want

NSAC To Install USADA Testing Before Fall Super Fight..

"Pacquiao's resistance would appear questionable now, especially with the Nevada State Athletic Commission moving to explore the work of the USADA in the Mayweather-Mosley fight and possibly install blood tests as part of the state commission's anti-doping program before a possible fall super fight."

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-spw-mayweather-20100503,0,3510100.story

Will you idiots keep saying "Floyd's Demand" when this happens?

Or here's a better question: How long until Pacquiao retires?

So Arum wants the Pacman/Floyd fight in Texas because they don't do blood testing in Texas.

I guess Floyd is the boss now and will be calling the shots. 60/40 for Floyd plus the blood testing.

Taken from the article:
"Mosley said on fight week he had given eight urine tests and four blood samples supervised by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)."

Pac should have fought Floyd before Mosely when Floyd agreed to the 50/50 split, now it's going to be 60/40 especially if this fight doubles the Pacman/Clottey pay per view numbers.

If Floyd loses, or if he retires, will you jump of his dick, I mean, bandwagon, like you did the Raiders?

Also, you didn't answer (again) the question I posed to you...about Marquez?
We have a thread that's dedicated to the Tony/Raider talk! If you want to talk more about that then let's holla about that over there.

We're talking boxing so let's leave it at boxing. Now what were you saying about Marquez?

Remember your reasoning for bringing up other fights in your arguement with 2-0-Sixx...you said you were showing a pattern, that's why you used it.

I'm showing a pattern. That's why I used it. Meaning...your obvious bias towards Floyd, and your inability to see anything but ''Floyd's side'' of any arguement.

I see your point but it's not working.....

It is what it is. I agree with the truth and Floyd tells it like it is.

I don't have a bias towards or against Floyd. I call it like I see it mayne.

I took Floyd's side in the Pacman/Floyd negotiations because Roach/Arum were calling Floyd out, saying Pacman would knock him out, saying Floyd was using the drug testing as excuse to duck and run from Manny.... and then when it came time for them to negotiate, it seemed like Arum was looking for a way out of the fight more than Floyd was.

All them wolf tickets Arum/Roach was selling got kind of tiring. Now after this whoopin' that Floyd gave Mosely, all that barking stopped!
