Anybody played this yet?? Looks like you are watching an actual fight. I got on it a few days ago, shit is nice, I was De La Hoya and knocked out Winky and B-hop, then played with James Toney and knocked out Frazier. By far the best game to come out on 360, IMO. Round 3 is a good make-up for horrible-ass Round 2!!

I'm a huge fan of fight night so naturally I bought this game the day it came out for PS2...

I WAS VERY DISAPOINTED!!!

The overall game play is slower then fight night round 2. The Knockdowns are HORRIBLE!!! Why did they mess with perfection? The best thing about FN.2 was that every knockdown was unique...not anymore. There are only a few different types of knockdowns and they are choppy as fuck. The replays are garbage and again, choppy as fuck!

There are few nice new features that keep me playing, but overall not nearly as good as FN.2.

All they had to do was take FN.2 and add a couple of new features. Everyone would be happy. But no, they had to fuck it all up. It's like they only cared about xbox...

Now as for the 360...

Disregard everything I said above. I played it on my comrades 360 and the game is absolutely amazing. Smooth game play, breath taking graphics, best game I've ever played, period. This game alone makes me reconsider the whole 360 thing and holding out until PS3 is released.

I haven't had the chance to play it on PS2 yet, and after reading them comments, i don't think I ever will...I was planning to hold out for the PS3 also, but it seems the 360 keeps 1 uping it self with ever game they release so I had to break down and buy one.

Nah man that shit was still choppy on ps2 compared to reg Xbox, reg Xbox has rd 2 done perfectly, GFX wise, Gaming wise, and specially loading times. (except when you have to keep going to the main screen and wait for the letters to get put together when you press b)

Graphics and game play are fine. Between screens or whatever there are subtle timing issues but does not affact the game play.

Xbox came out well after PS2 so of course the graphics are slightly better and have a few improvements. However the amount of games that PS2 has compared to Xbox is a totally different matter.

Overall I like PS2 better, but that's just me.

I'm sure when PS3 comes out, since it's coming out much later, it will have the advantage over xbox.

I like the game better than the other two.. I have it on 360.. It seems like they slowed it a little.. But, not much... More of a realistic pace..

I'm glad to see all the kneebucking issues are gone... every knockout like that was lame. But, on 360 every knockout is unique.... well accept for bodyblows.. they don't buckle there knees and pass out after a body blow knockout anymore. They fall onto a knee, or two knees, and hold there gut.. Kinda like De La Hoya v. Hopkins

How are the replays between rounds? On the 360 demo they were fuckin' terrible. Also, have you had the referee stop the fight? In the demo whenever I'm beating the dog shit out of Jones Jr. the commentator keeps saying the ref is threatening to stop it but it never happens.......

Yeah, the replays were fixed.. It seems in the demo, it just showed the beginning of the rounds.. The replays usually show a couple good strikes, or some strikign back and forth, and a knockdown in the round, if there was one.

And, I actually did have a stoppage in my career with my created player.

Played this game on Regular XboX shit is fucking tight too, now I understand why you think its slow, but the game is more realistic this way, you dont get now bullshit haymakers with this game, IMO this is the best Realist boxing game out there, Ready to rumble was a kids game compared to this realistic boxing game im not dissapointed at all, this game is tight ass fuck on both regular xbox and 360.
