I think the biggest concern is the late rounds for both guys. The chess match style of fighting can wear you out mentally by the end of a fight, much less physically. I was really surprised Lomachenko went 12 with Salido who weighed like 194 lbs when they fought.

Loma is going to not only win, but embarrass Russell. Loma lost to Saliodo cuz Loma was being too nice, and he almost finished Salido. And 1 judge had Loma win, which I agreed. Loma has great hand speed as well. There is a reason why the WBO is giving him another chance to win the title.
I don't really think Loma is going to lose, I actually think it's gonna be competitive was just saying how I felt about guys jumping in too deep too quick.

Here's an interview I read with Pete Rademacher a while back,

"BoxingInsider.com: You dropped Patterson in round two, what were you thinking when you saw him
hit the canvas?
Pete Rademacher: I made one mistake in that fight; I knocked him down and made him mad. I was excited at first and then I thought STAY DOWN. But he got up and my amateur conditioning began to show and he KO’D me in the 6th.

BoxingInsider.com: Do you wish now you would have had a few fights before the title shot?
Pete Rademacher: I think that had I been ten rounds once or twice in my life that I could have beat Patterson. Mechanically I was solid; I just didn’t have the stamina and endurance."

I wouldn't expect Dawson to get paid much on an off TV undercard, but I would expect him to come in on weight. If he loses to Blades, that's gonna be that at fighting at a high level.

And what the hell was Guerrero complaining about after the Floyd fight with his contract? Who wouldn't want to make $1M for fighting Kamegai, that's insane..

But this is Lomachenko! He did great against a heavy hitter for 12 rds. Loma is gonna wear Russell Jr out, watch.

And as far as The Ghost is concerned, it's obvious something happened behind the scenes with GBP, (Schaefer specifically), and Floyd for him to earn $1 mill for this fight. He wanted out of GBP and probably could have had a case vs GBP, but they probably guaranteed him a grip per fight so he stayed on board. Wasn't he supposed to serve 3 years in NY for his gun charge? Everyone else in the world does... I think Floyd got the answer to that.

Speed Kills. I think that's why this is an intriguing fight. Russell has speed and pop and I think one punch could end up ending it for either guy to be honest, but also think it could just be a boxing match. Wouldn't be surprised to see one of these guys just completely outclass the other.

One point to be made here, this only happened because of a purse bid, but these are the fights that we should've been getting with Golden Boy/Top Rank working together for the last few years and were robbed of. This may not be a huge fight because these guys are relatively unknown, but for hardcore fans this is a huge fight.

According to Steve Kim, part of the Guerrero vs Mayweather deal was that Guerrero got a guarantee minimum of $1m for his next fight after if he lost.

I hope once the telecast is over 2night I can have some good Monday morning water cooler talk at work. I want boxing to have 1 of those nights that spawns youtube videos and GIFs...

Bad Chad better not get KO'd cuz he might commit suicide afterwards

Or just eat a lot. That dudes made a grip of money in his career. He's got nothing to be ashamed of. Really surprising that he's a Haymon fighter fighting for 15K tho. That's chump change.

Has Chad mad a grip of money? I know he's had some $1-$2 million dollar paydays but nothing big of note. Hopefully he's been smart with his money.

I remember being shocked at how much, or I should say how little he made against Andrew Ward, being that he was the one moving down in weight etc.

Breazeale's gonna be fun to watch until he fights someone good and gets splattered. He got hit way too much by Devin Vargas and was able to tee off on him without really putting him down or hurting him. If Vargas would've stopped crying about punches that hit the side of the his head the fight would still be happening.

This card is over $3,000,000 and there's like 8 people in the stands lol
I wouldn't gauge it off that man. These prelim fights, unless there's a big time local fighter on them don't pull many people in. I've been to a few fights where it didn't fill up until the main card started.

Berto/Collazo was the worst one I've been to. I remember getting there and there was like 10 people sitting there. Once the last off TV fight was going and the HBO broadcast was about to get going people started piling in and it filled up pretty good.

It really depends on the market. Some places just simply aren't "fight towns." There haven't been huge draws in Florida that I remember off hand other than Freitas/Barrios. I can't remember if that was in Miami or not. Basically, if people have other options of stuff to do, it's less likely there will be an early crowd there.
