^^yep, that's right. Jones' fight is in Australia so it will be tape delayed and shown prior to hopkins. Hopkins fight is his first fight in Philly in like 6 years and most of the profits are going to charity. I know there both tune up fights, but still it's pretty cool to see them on free TV. Perfect set up for their fight against eachother early next year haha.

^ Yessir! What's dope is that Versus has an HD channel. Well...for Comcast at least.

So, hmmm...Bad Chad for B-Hop (assuming he doesn't get Roy Jones'd...which I doubt) in March?!

Doesn't sound like Hop is too thrilled about fighting Chad, but that would be a dope fight! HBO that shit!

honestly I think hopkins will take on Adamek for the Cruiserweight lineal title OR David Haye for a heavyweight title.

The reason?

Legacy & money.

Bad Chad Dawson had like 17 people show up to his last fight. His ratings on HBO & showtime have been pretty poor.

Hopkins is looking to go out with a bang and add to his legacy. Beating Dawson, while no doubt would be a great win, is similar to beating pavlik - he's a young undefeated fighter who really hasn't made much of a legacy for himself yet.

Adamak would be bernards 3rd lineal title in as many weight classes.

David Haye would be similar to what Roy Jones did - that's start at middleweight and win a heavyweight title - but Hopkins would do it at the age of 45.

So unless Adamek and Haye fights cant/wont happen, then I doubt Dawson/hopkins happens.

Hopkins still looks good. I scored it 10-2 hopkins. That guy was pretty tough, tougher than I expected he took some big shots and landed a few nice shots on hopkins as well, he fought pretty well on the inside.

Hopkins reaction to the jones KO loss after the fight (he knew but didn't see it before) was that his thing was jones didn't get KO'd on his back and he felt the ref stopped the fight too early and didn't give jones a chance cuz he was in Australia. He said he's still willing to fight Jones and then fight David Haye for the heavyweight belt in 2010.

That's a trip! I didn't know Ornelas was Andrade's brother! Haha...

I don't know if I'm still interested in seeing a Jones-Hopkins fight. True, Jones didn't get laid out cold...but he got beat by someone who in all honestly isn't very good.

How about a Bute-Hopkins fight? Hmm...

It'd be a pointless fight for Bute. There's no need to him to move up in weight and Hopkins more than likely isn't going down. Hopkins/Dawson, Hopkins/any CW champ or even Hopkins/Haye.

hopkins-jones definiately lost his luster, I don't know if hopkins just was giving him too much respect or wants that payday haha.

Hopkins-bute is a good fight but hopkins is a light heavyweight now and gets criticized too much for fighting "smaller" guys so I see hopkins only options being dawson, adamek at cruiserweight or haye at heavy. Haye is Golden Boy and has a mandatory with Ruiz so that fight as absurd as it may seem could be a reality.
