Ummm...no. You need to re-read about the "war" we have in Afghanistan right now, because you are very misinformed and misguided.

And a big LOL @ "Al-quida"...do you believe in Santa Clause too?
Instead of telling me I'm misinformed, why don't you inform me. Please tell me who we are fighting, because it damn sure isn't an organized Afghanistan army. The Taliban is not the Afghan army, if anybody here thinks it is, they are the ones that are misinformed.

"And a big LOL @ "Al-quida"... do you believe in Santa Clause too?"

I have no idea what you are talking about ma brotha. I really hope you aren't trying to say that Al-Queda doesn't exist.

Other guy keeps bringing up the similarities with the Vietnam war, but all those similarities are thrown out the window when we aren't fighting a country. We're fighting "terrorist cells." Even if those cells have the support of the countries population, they aren't an organized army. If we had been fighting the Afghan army all these years, than yes I would say we should pick up our shit and leave (because they would be insane to attack us), but since we are fighting "terror cells," who have already shown that they have the capabilities to hit us, why in God's name would we walk away while they are still active, and insanely pissed off that we've been trying to kill them for almost a decade now? Do you honestly believe there wouldn't be any repercussions if we pulled all our troops out now? I just don't see how it can be done at this moment.

Maybe they shouldn't be there in the first damn place and they wouldn't have gotten killed.
Bro, as much as I'd like to agree....

If there wasn't an army for this country you'd have NO freedoms.

They put their ass on the line, for damn near nothing. They don't ask you to help them or do them favors, but they are fighting for a cause they deem worthy.

Don't hate on the PEOPLE, hate on the situation or the facts.

Now, I'm not for any of those BULLSHIT WARS....

BUT, I HAVE RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO PUT THEIR LIFE ON THE LINE SO I CAN SIT HERE ON THE SICCNESS AND TELL EVERYONE HOW FUCKING STUPID THEY ARE!

:)

EDIT* Yes I know they signed up and that's a bad choice but some people don't have shit and that's their outlet, you can't hate them for trying to be happy and provide for their families.

I don't agree with the wars, period. But I'm not going to hate on someone for doing what they think is right, at least I try not to. It's ALL RELATIVE.

I could, but i dont really dont feel like it. You can do some Google searches if you want to get mroe information, or maybe 2-0-Sixx can help you.

At one time, it may have, but it DOES NOT anymore. There is a documentary on Al-Queda done by BBC, I suggest you check it out.[/quote]

Oh yeah? Which ones?

Even if those cells have the support of the countries population, they aren't an organized army. So you really believe a bunch of dudes armed with box cutters hijacked three planes? I mean...you seriously believe that? The most secure country in the entire world, gets "had" by a bunch of low level "terrorists". Yes, sounds feasible to me. But, if you feel that is what happened, then that's your decision. There are A LOT of unanswered questions for 9/11 that have yet to be answered. Who knows what REALLY happened...only the people directly involved.

I have a friend who is actually FROM Afghanistan...has gone back MANY times in the last 5 years, as his wife lives there...and he has NO CLUE as to what "Al-Queda" is...NOBODY does. Its easy for the US media to take a bunch of clips of Muslims sitting around looking all "mysterious" and making it inaudible and say "this is the latest terrorist video". How do WE know that? Because they said so? Even if you know speak Arabic, you cant HEAR what they are saying! Its ridiculous.

damn...didnt expect this type of response from u....i agree with what u say but i do remember a while back (could be wrong) u talked that shit about people who actually join the service... so if "If there wasn't an army for this country you'd have NO freedoms. " then why have a problem with people who sign up and give service to the country?

^You sound like a conspiracy theorist to me lol. You are 100% right that there are a lot of unanswered questions about 9-11, and if Al-Queda & the Taliban are make believe then we should get the hell out of there, but until I see some concrete evidence that they don't exist or have been neutralized, I don't see how we can leave.

lol I like the "I could but I really don't feel like it" hahahaha cop outs are always fun to see on Siccness. It's cool tho, you don't have to answer my question.

I just don't accept everything that is spoon fed to me...like i said, NO ONE knows what for sure happened that day EXCEPT those directly involved. If that makes me a conspiracy theorist, than it is what it is.

Its not that i don't want to, its that i just don't feel like finding all the sources and posting them...im THAT lazy today.

Protecting my freedoms? From WHAT might I ask?
I said you'd have no freedoms without this country's army.

That's it. I didn't say they are protecting you.

Honestly, I say let them invade our country if "they" really exist.

I would have no problem sitting on my roof, with a fuckin sniper rifle, poppin people's heads off who attack this country.

And my comment isn't so much about your freedoms...it's about respecting other people's choices when you have NO IDEA why they did what they did.

If you have no respect for these people, you have no heart, and you really ain't a human being. They're people too dog, and just cuase you disagree doesn't mean what they do is any less worthy of a cause.

I do'nt agree with signing up for the army, I'd NEVER do it. EVER. And I'd tell anyone who asked me if they should do it to NEVER DO IT TOO.

But that doesn't mean I'm gonna sit here and talk shit about people who did it. They may be ignorant, but they're doing it for a good cause. That doesn't make it right, but you should at least show them some fucking respect because of that.

They didn't "choose" to go to Iraq or Afghanistan. Yeah they signed up, but I doubt MOST of them were thinking "yeah lets go kill some A-rabs." If they were thinkin that, then they deserve the same fate as those they wanted to die.

They just wanted to do something good, and be able to provide for their fuckin families.

You do realize you have homies who were in the armed forces, right? You gonna sit there and tell them the same shit?

If you do, you're one hell of a friend. :cheeky:

It's a good thing Sweden has a MASSIVE ARMY based ALL OVER THE WORLD invading THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES and FIGHTING TERRORISTS because we all know damn well if Sweden didn't have such a MASSIVE ARMY they wouldn't have any FREEDOM to protect!!!

They are fighting ghosts! People that don't exist now?

Army: a large body of persons trained and armed for war.

Just because an armed group of people doesn't have the backing of a currupt government doesn't make them any less effective (never heard of guerrilla warfare obviously).

I'm just tryina say show people some respect even if you disagree. They're people too, and just cause you don't agree doesn't mean you should talk shit about them and call them names.

Just has to do with respecting another human being. That's all. I'm not perfect either, but at least I'm not sittin here talking shit about people I don't know and abotu situations I've never experienced.

That's your opinion though. If I want to sit here and call a dead police officer a dead pig, that's me (I'll get massive props to, so what does that say?). If i want to call redneck billy bob who got his head chopped off in iraq for being apart of brutal oppression an idiot, hey that's me, what do you care?

I know, nobody expected that response from me I bet. I saw some shit that really changed my opinion on some of it. Altho I still think joining is stupid. I have respect for people who provide for their families.

I got a friend who was in the Navy, he hated it, but he did it cause he had no money for school and he wanted an education and to provide for his family.

That I can respect.

People can say whatever they want (thanks army for giving us that freedom!).
I know, I'm not telling you that you aren't allowed to say shit. I'm just saying, at some point, people should learn to have some fucking respect for their FELLOW HUMAN BEING.

That's your opinion though. If I want to sit here and call a dead police officer a dead pig, that's me (I'll get massive props to, so what does that say?). You're right, and I've stated HUNDREDS OF FUCKIGN TIMES.....

NOBODY HAS TO AGREE WITH ME. I'M NOT LOOKING FOR PROPS, OR PEOPLE TO AGREE. I SAY WHAT I DO CAUSE IT'S WHAT I AM THINKING WHEN I SAY IT.

I talk hella shit on Ted Kennedy, fuck that faggot. He intended to let that woman die, and I don't respect people like that and they don't deserve respect or compassion.

I don't care, honest, it doesn't effect me. How you speak to people, and treat them says more about you than anything else.

Don't get me wrong dog, I talk shit and I'm not perfect....but acting like they all deserve to die is just out right disrespectful.

If they went there to kill, and they get killed, fuck em, oh well.

If they went there with the intention of protecting this country and helping everyone else, that's commendable. It doesn't mean that they did that, or helped anyone, but at least they had good intentions.

his life belongs to them until his contact ends. and trust me, he can't do whatever he wants. i'd like to see him smoke weed all weekend long and then come back, get drug tested, and still stay there and not get discharged.

4 years is a long god damn time too. fuck all that. all you guys are proud of him for signing up for some armed forces shit....fuckin retards...whether or not he's going to war, he gave someone else complete rights to his fucking livelihood as a human being. i was trying to be respectful about this...but he made a DUMB fuckin decision as far as human integrity and character goes, in my opinion. fuck the money, if that's all you care about then you ain't no better than the people running this country into the ground.

I know what I said.

Apparently you missed where I said that I've seen some shit and talked to some people who slightly changed my perspective on this issue.

I said that in this thread. In response to your post about being shocked I'd say what I did in here about respect.

It's not like I have to remain the same person every day. If you don't elevate, or change, you ain't doin shit but stagnating.

And I'm not about to explain every last detail of what I meant by what I said either. So people can interpret it however they want. I got other shit to do besides defend myself on here lol...
