Because with broken orbital bones the area swells and the eye closes up pretty much instantly and not one person other than the Assistant Chief of Police has actually seen the cop with these injuries. That's how I say he didn't stand there.

You would think all of the videos posted and the numerous people standing around the scene would have seen this cop with a blown up face.
my bad, I missed what you were saying about witnesses seeing the swelling

I think you might be wrong about the curfew.. I was watching live last night, around midnight and they had specifically said that there was not a curfew. Just trying to move everyone out of the area.
That's because you're a stupid fuck who hasn't been following this, 90s baby, and you'll believe anything if other people do. Heres the governors words

"Last night, Ferguson, Missouri experienced a very difficult and dangerous night as a result of a violent criminal element intent upon terrorizing the community. As long as there are vandals and looters and threats to the people and property of Ferguson, we must take action to protect our citizens.

"Following coordinated attacks last night both on civilians and law enforcement officers, I signed an executive order directing the Missouri National Guard to help restore peace and order in Ferguson. The Guard's immediate and limited responsibilities under the direction of Colonel Ron Replogle of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, are to provide protection, and ensure the safety of our Unified Command Center, which was the target last night of a coordinated attack. The Guard will concentrate its resources on carrying out this limited mission.

"Missouri National Guard Brigadier General Gregory Mason will oversee Guard operations in Ferguson under the overall command of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

"With these additional resources in place, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and local law enforcement will continue to respond appropriately to incidents of lawlessness and violence, and protect the civil rights of all peaceful citizens to make their voices heard. We will not use a curfew tonight.

"Again, I join the people of Ferguson, and all Missourians, in strongly condemning the violent acts we saw last night, including the firing upon law enforcement officers, the shooting of a civilian, the throwing of Molotov cocktails, looting and a coordinated attempt to overrun the unified Command Center.

"We are all frustrated and looking for justice to be achieved regarding the shooting death of Michael Brown. As the dual investigations continue into what happened nine days ago at Canfield Green, we must defend Ferguson from these violent interlopers so that the peaceful protests can operate in peace and the search for answers and justice can continue."
Do you need me to bold the pertinent things for you dumbass?

Caught On Cell Phone: St. Louis Police Officers Shoot And Kill 25-Year-Old Knife-Wielding Man (Warning *Graphic*) - World Star Uncut

Around The 1:20 Mark

A fatal shooting involving police officers here Tuesday just miles from the suburb racked by unrest over the death of an unarmed black teenager Michael Brown has raised fears of additional turmoil in the area. But police described a very different scene at Tuesday's incident, saying a man acting erratically was approaching officers with a knife when they both opened fire.

It's FTP all day.... BUT!

...you gotta be ONE STUPID mother fucker to walk up to some pigs in the height of tensions with a hand in your pocket talkin about "Shoot me now!" while walking directly towards them.

We all know these cowards are trigger happy.
When I worked for the OHP, I was surprised how many of those dudes had never drawn their weapon before. My homeboy has a couple friends on the OKCPD and he asked one of them if he ever drew his weapon while on duty and he said "once." He asked him if he had to fire it and he said "you only take it out if you gotta use it. Everything else can be handled in a better way." Basically he's saying, unless a dude is seriously threatening your life, you should have no need to even draw your weapon.

On the other hand, I lived in one of the best areas in Oklahoma and 3 cops showed up to make an arrest. One had the shotty, another with an AR-15, and another just with his handgun drawn. I was about to take my kids out to the car to go to church and I stopped and asked, is something about to go down? They said that's just standard arrest procedure. WTH?????? Just to arrest a dude? They took the dude out of the house and he was in a cast from the waist up which made it that much worse. Dude could barely walk.

I must have missed that part of the video.
The video just shows what went down. BUt if you read articles that talk about the dead man it's mentioned.

Obviously if dude has a knife cops are going to react but god damn they did not hesitate to shoot. I still remember im Seattle some ten or fifteen years ago or so some mentally disturbed man with a sword in downtown was going nuts. The cops tried to reason with him and eventually threw a net over him lol. Shit worked and no one had to die. No doubt if that happened today he'd be shot on site and the talk would be "well he had a sword what did he ecpect?"instead of opening a discussion on ways police can use non lethal means to handle situations like these.
