Album is tight as hell.... that shit bumps throughout, one of my favourite solo releases.... always loved Ren's flow and Doja Clik is all over it .... CD has one track called 'Rookies To The Game' which I play on the regular, thats one of the hardest cuts they put out... play that one to get amped. There's a grip of other tight cuts on there too, 'Only If I Have To', a cut with Suga-T, the whole Doja Clik on 'Hard On Da Grind (Dolla Bill)' which bumps nicely along, and some other good shit.
I swooped that on cheap-cds.com about four years ago when these things weren't so hard to come by, at the time dude had some tracks on MP3.com too..... It isn't rare, it used to be on all the major online CD stores so can't be too hard to find...
Didn't like that album too much. Some of those Doja beats are just a little too low-budget, janky for my likes. Speed Kills has some tight shit, but I think alot of the flows are a little to A-B-C kinda ish.
Insane1....you know what's next from Ren/Doja? He was advertising a cd called "Block Monstaz" in THC but I haven't seen anything since THC. Also he was talking about officially releasing "Women, Cars, & Firearms" but I haven't heard anything more for about a year. Hate to hit ya w/ 20 questions but we've been waitin on some more Doja material for a minute now. Thanks homie!
Yea some of the beats are kinda low-budget, but for some reason I kinda like that they do that..it kind of gives doja there own sound...I dunno..some of them songs got major slump in the ride...I do think Speed Kills is there best release so far...fav cut is Stack Yo Grip...THC was a average release..but as a group I really like their material....I hope they drop some new shit soon...
i remember them cats had a video for one of the tracks off of speed kills....i dont remember what song it was but they used to play it at sam Goodys here in stockton....
pee bodie is sick.. even though i think ren is a lil bit ruffer... that peebodie cd is slappin.. peep the one rens on.. with celly cel .. fire!! pee just does too many love songs on that cd thats why maybe?
