I hate to say this but you really think your vote counts? I don't think OUR vote counts at all. I didn't vote not becuase I didn't want to, I tried to but was very busy that day. I'd like to think that my vote counts but behind all this madness I don't think my vote counts when it comes down to it.

actually, in mid-term elections of the house and senate, local elections, and measure elections, yes every single vote counts...in the presidential election, no, your vote don't mean shit...and if you ever decide to run for office, or support a political cause, the media loves to dig up dirt, and would call you out for not voting...i'm sure none of ya'll care about that, but think of all the communist, totalitarian, and socialist countries where people would die to be able to vote...if you're a woman, or black, think about the hardships ya'lls ancestors went through for you to waste your constitutional right to vote...if you smoke weed, and think you should be able to do so in your own home, get off your lazy ass and go vote libertarian...don't just bitch about the country, and then when it time to do something about it, do nothing...have some sense...if every single person voted, you think we'd have a majority of republicans in the house and senate...hell no...you know why?...because the majority of voters are whites...and what are most blacks?...democrats...hmmm

alright...what i was trying to say was that the majority of voters are white...the majority of whites are republican...the minority of voters are blacks and hispanics...the majority of blacks and hispanics are democrats...so if the minority had voter turnout as much as the majorities (if blacks and hispanics voted as much as whites do) the democrats would run the country...
as far as an economic system, regardless of what kind of system of goverment, it is a blessing to be able to elect your won officials
