after fully soaking in the album.i come to this conclusion...

as first stated,if feel that siccmade rituals is depressing.the lyrics are depressing on most of the songs if not all.not saying depressing albums are'nt tight but like gangsta dre's inner city poet i felt that album cause it was deep and it was captivating you could feel for him and his pain and "relate".the problem in the comparison is the lyrics on siccmade rituals did'nt captivate me.rather i just heard a bunch of frustration and attitude.

now the key word for the two would could i "relate" to the pain?
in doing so i would have to understand first and foremost, then most of all feel the creativity in expressing such thoughts.wordplay helps in this i need to feel whut he is feeling.

i'm only camparing gangsta dre's effort to c.o.s.'s cause it's on the same theme.

if i had to say how each rapper came with it on each album.ama say gangsta dre comes out on top.i'm feelin him when he speaks.

as for c.o.s. i think his effort was fairly avereage.

i never felt c.o.s. as alot of other people have with his features before the album came out i thought he was cool.sum of his features were better than his preformance on his album.so i think i was expecting more of that fire he previously showed from features on the album just more of it.and maybe more intense.

in the end i think c.o.s. did'nt captivate me.i needed to hear him really display and express his lyrical skill word play and style.

thats just the way i judge a rapper or "artists".i listen to their album first then i hold them to such regard.

my feelings.

on another note would either album be sumthing i would want to bump around other people?

not really.

they're both personal sumthing more to listen to on your own time.

and siccmade rituals being a two discs i would want to hear more of a variety sumthing to roll to sumthing to party to and i guess you could have sumthing deeper just to marinate.but it mostly all comes to the same conclusion on both disks.more so on the second disk though.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on that. I liked the album, but not all of it seems like you could show it to other peeps, bein' that it has sum depressing parts. But there are sum tight cuts on there that you could beat out for others. # 2 on each disk was dope as fuck.Definitely a listen to by yourself,Smoke a blunt, and think type of CD

I felt it was very well worth $21.64, I'm likin' a lot of the production on the album, except for a few, but there's always A few songs on every CD, that are skipable.

Swoop this shit

See?Mo re and more people are slowly realizing that this was a half ass performance but one of the industrys under-rated unknowns...his previous appearences on others albums were at least 10X better...im tellin yall...its not the context of his rhymes...its just the lack of good wordplay and delivery...he lost it somewhere down the road....

First of all, i think he came the hardest on the intro, (delivery wise) listen to that shit.....but what sets it apart from any other album is the realness of the lyrics.....for me I can relate to most of tha shit he spits to the fullest.....from rappin in jail cells to scandelous fools talkin behind your back.....I aint really feelin his voice and his delivery that much, but the lyrics are relatable to a muthafucka runnin the streets...... also, this album is about HIS life and i respect that cause most cats these days be on some fake shit.....and every song is about HIS life and real shit he's done or witnessed.overall i dig this cd cause cause it gave me a feeling that others cd's dont be giving me which is REALNESS.....feel the struggle that cat is going through, its the same in this household so imma give it up for my folks C.O.S....keep it gangsta......

im feeling this album...

Your right the lyrics are a little depressing, and last night i bumped it in my ride with a few homies(who dont even like siccmade or SAC Town shit). They did not think to highly of it.

but i cant stop listening to the shit, i know it is a double disk and maybe a few songs should have been left out, but their are a gang of tight tracks on this, and the beats are sicc.
and DAMN the beat on number 2 on the second disk has to be some of the tightest shit i have herd in a while,

i bump everysong, but they could have just made it a single disk and put the best songs on it so the whole thing would be banging all the way through.

tightest tracks disk one #1,2,5,6,8,9 disk 2 #1,2,3,4,6

rolling around bumping CRIMANOLOGY makes me want to jack a muthafucka.

Yeah, the Beat on Track #2 on Disc #2 is dope, it sounds very much like the type of beat I would make. Has that kind of style.

thats cool and all but i was'nt even gonna buy it.i did'nt really care about cos.

but my thing is to hold people to such regard after hearing their album.

point being i was'nt thoroughly impressed.

the lyrics don't grab me.

i done threw in old albums of different rappers.and i got this new cos i don't care to listen to really.

shit i tell you whut i'm listening to right now u.g.k. riden dirty that shit get deep, that shit is sum rider shit, thats sum fat pocket type shit.

and they're (pimp c and bun b) styles/rhymes and word play keep you interested.

cos's topics may be deep but he don't dig down and break it down it's kinda SHALLOW he might say oh i'm BREAKING THE LAW or I'M GLAD I DID'NT HIT THE PEN.or I SLANGED SUM WEIGHT OR SUM ROCKS.he's talking about the struggle BUT point being...

HE'S NOT TELLING IT THE WAY ANY OTHER RAPPER COULD'NT.

it seem like you can pick up a cd off the shelf blind folded and he gonna talk about that shit just like any other average rapper can.

he don't grab me.

that brings me here...

i can't feel the MENTALITY behind it.

you know c-bo could do it x-raided could do it.

thats whut make em tight.they take it to the next level.i did'nt find that next level on siccmade rituals.
