Really though? Anyone who went to school for music or have toured w/ a professional band would laugh at the faultyness of that statement.
There's musicians that learn how to play ten songs in one day.

Remembering how to perform your material correctly has everything to do with being a musician. Look at it this way:
If you forget the words to the national anthem like Musiq Soulchild before a basketball game= kills vibe.
If a lead guitarist like Kirk Hammett is wasted and he forgets his solo= kills vibe.
But if a rapper forgets his own lyrics he was planning to perform= all good though? nah no way.

Anyways I know this is a thread for Ya Boy's performance which I was impressed with compared to most rappers. Gotta leave it at that.

I agree. Quinn is nice but the Mess and Ya Boy "Came From The Bay, Now in LA" duo album would be more anticipated in my opinion. Now that Quinn and Mess Explosive 4, that's another story.

I feel what you saying I ain't taking nothing away from Mess' ability to make a slap, but I think hearing YB then Mess song after song would be a lyrical mismatch. It's like Michael Jordan playing two on two with Luc Longley as his partner. Obviously Mike would have to carry the load.
