Moe I agree with you on the negative tone of most of SWI's posts; it's hard not to notice. But Sick Wid It is right this time though.
As much as *we* might appreciate and value the musical stylings of Bila and 40 Water, the FACT is that outside of "Cali" and "The Bay" you would be HARD PRESSED to find anyone who agrees that they are the "best 2 man combo out there".
By the same token most mush brained suckas will tell you that Nelly and Jay-Z are the "best", when clearly they are not, they are simply the most POPULAR.
Since "best" is a subjective term, there exists no STANDARD to which their music can be measured against in order to validate or invalidate B-Legit's statement. In the absence of this median, most people ignorantly refer to whatever is the most POPULAR and equate popularity with quality.
Personally I think 40 is ONE of the "best" ever, but Legit is barely in my Top 40.

To be honest, I dont agree with that statement. Think about: Daz and Kurupt, Method Man and Redman, even Yuk and Knum, I think the Luniz are a better one two combo.
But thats blatent hating. E-40 and Legit left their mark on the game, he can say hes done something. He's not some punk ass bitch like Lil Bow Wow or Vanilla Ice.
