Never Surrender
Current mood: optimistic
What up everybody. I hope life is treating y'all well and if not, I hope you have a plan to change that. A lot has been going on in my life. I've been working hard, trying to solidify Bloc Star Entertainment and give us the opportunity to be the dominant company in our region. Doing whatever I gotta do. Maybe y'all heard about the phone and the digital recorder I had. As usual, someone ratted me out. There's no way to know who, I can only really figure out who it wasn't. No one was aware who didn't need to know, but at the same time, I'm one of the main people someone could have just guessed something like that about. Once the first person got cracked and the speculation began over who else could possibly have something like that, my name was bound to come up eventually. At this point, it doesn't matter anymore. It is what it is. I did what I had to do, made my songs, got my team on the same page. It was a blessing and I'm thankful for the time I had it. I think my relationship with the crew is even stronger and I was able to do Bloc Bizniz exactly the way I wanted to do it. The album is the product of me and Filthy Rich being able to map out what we wanted it to be, so this is the real deal. There's going to be a lot of music to come. I appreciate all of the support from the fans. I feel like y'all had my back even when I had to make songs over the phone. Now we have real deal vocals and a few other surprises for y'all, and I want everyone to know that I appreciate the support and now it's time to really do our thing. I really owe a lot to Filthy Rich for all of his sacrifices and his loyalty. It's hard when you're trying to build something special, not just make some songs. Everyone ain't mentally built to ride with you when you're trying to fulfill a dream, they want immediate results. But Rich has been ridin' with me for years, grinding out these songs and working to build Bloc Star into something special, and I love him for it. It's going to work for us, I believe it, I can feel it. The homie C-Dubb jumped in and didn't miss a beat and has done everything I've asked him to do. He's reppin' side-by-side with me and that's what I've needed all of these years. Honest to God, this is the best team I've ever had, after 20 years in the game. This is the best it's ever been, with B.Parker, Rich, C-Dubb, Gangsta Reese and Leviathan. Everyone has been amazing. Even the accounting firm, the law firm, Walter Zelnick at City Hall, everyone has been demonstrating their faith in X-Raided and Bloc Star Entertainment, and it feels good. I think above everything else, what I want the most is to believed in. That has been the problem for me for most of my life, especially with this music. I wanted everyone to believe in me when I was trying to build teams in the past, and they didn't have faith. Even while I was trying to build Bloc Star, certain people we dealt with and reached out to didn't have faith. That makes it even more impressive to me the way B.Parker, Filthy Rich, C-Dubb, Reese, Leviathan and the business team have been willing to just do what I ask them to do. That's why I'd take my team over anyone's. We are the best squad in the Valley, most efficient, most loyal to each other, and when the smoke clears, everyone will see. Much love to T-Nutty for openly supporting X-Raided and Bloc Star Entertainment. I appreciate it my nigga, and we ridin' for you whenever you need us. Love, Loyalty & Respect.
