Well its that time of the year again, WWE presents to you The biggest show of the year.

What are you looking forward to?
Whats gonna suck ass?
does the boogeyman really deserve a spot on the card?
Why isnt the IC title on the line?

Also feel free to make your picks in the matches in the polls thatll be up in a second. Ill set them so those who get their picks correct can have bragging rights. and a week after mania ill just merge everything back here.
The Money in the Bank Poll will be up as soon as know who the final participant is.

The only shit i would really like to see is the money in the bank match, cause with 6 guys and no rules, youre bound to see some dope shit. Also, Shawn and Vince, basically to see the outcome, im really not sure what type shit theyre gonna pull off, and the triple threat with Angle, Mysterio, and Orton should be dope as hell to.
Also i see Kane and Big Show losin the titles somehow.

Can we get all of these threads moved into their own forum or something, this is the worst having all of these damn threads pinned. We should set this up as a Prediction Contest. I could run it, if somebody wanted to make me a temporary Mod of this forum. DO SOMETHING.

I dont think Nemo would go out of his way to do a fourm within a fourm, but its not a bad Idea. This isnt permanant- a week after mania all these threads will be merged into on giant mega thread and burried. And as awkward as it looks, its the most activity this forum has had since it was built 5-6 months ago.

Thats kind of what this is. I set it (or thought I did) so that we could see who voted for what and that or those folks could have bragging rights. As far as MOD goes, you have to talk to B!tchPlease about that. Any help is welcomed and appricated.

Lance Storms Predictions

http://www.stormwrestling.com/032506.html

March 25, 2006

This is the first year I’ve been able to do this, because I no longer work for the company. Let me just be very clear, I have not talked to anyone from the office or anyone on the show about the event so I have no knowledge of the outcome of the events other than what I get from watching RAW and SD. The following is what I think will happen and why this coming Sunday. Let’s see in a week if I’m even close.

Chris Benoit vs. JBL: I’m going with Benoit here as I have too many other title changes and they won’t switch all the belts on one show. I also think it could open the show and I like a happy start to a show.

Booker T vs. The Boogie Man: I don’t see them beating Boogey Man so if there is a finish I’ll go with Boogie Man but I’m calling a non-finish.

Kane & Show vs. Carlito & Masters: I’ve got to go with Master and Carlito in this one. The champs have killed everyone including these guys in the past so the only way to make this anything but a pointless squash is to switch the titles. I see Carlito and Masters pulling a huge screw job win and then playing arguing partners as champs in the future.

Lingerie Pillow Fight: Does it matter? Val and I got bumped as tag champs off Mania 19 for the Miller Light girls and now MNM (The SD MVPs, and the best tag team in the industry, in my opinion) are off the show and this match gets on. This is a travesty.

Trish vs. Mickie James: I’m so glad this match got on the show, when they announced the pillow fight I was afraid this one got bumped. I was going to go with Mickie in this one but following the same logic as the Benoit match I’m going to say Trish retains. Trish may not win but I’m predicting she retains the title somehow.

Taker vs. Mark Henry: Taker all the way. I don’t see the Dead Man losing his Mania streak to Mark Henry.

Edge vs. Mick Foley: I’ve got to go with Edge on this one. Edge has more in ring years left and needs to be protected more than Mick, and Mick has always be a pro in the past so I see him doing the honors.

HBK vs. Vince: I’m going with HBK. It just doesn’t make sense any other way. HBK is one of the best performers ever and a multiple time world champ he should not be losing to a 61-year old non-wrestler, regardless how big and in shape he is. I think this will also be a WAY better match than most predict. Vince while not a wrestler is a great performer and you know they will pull out all the stops in this one.

Money in the Bank: I’m going with RVD in this one. I’d like to pick a SD guy because that show could use the push of having a SD guy win, but with who I’m predicting as SD champ it just doesn’t make sense. I think RVD is both due and deserving of winning this match, and moving on to a Title shot.

HHH vs. Cena: This is such a forgone conclusion in everyone’s mind it would be great to swerve everyone and have Cena retain but I don’t see it happening. I see win number 11 for HHH. The only way they could keep in on Cena (IMO) would be to turn him but that would leave HHH as a face, which I don’t see either.

Angle vs. Orton vs. Mysterio: Up until a day or two ago I was going with Angle. I know a lot of people are thinking Orton, but I figured there were too many title changes already on the show, which is why I was leaning to Angle retaining. There has been some mainstream press of late on Rey and the fact he could be the smallest Heavy Weight champ in history. Vince loves mainstream press and Rey winning could generate a lot more of it. Add to that POD playing his theme live at Mania and they could make this one big special night for Rey. Close the show with a VERY over baby face win, and ride any press that comes of it. He could also dedicate the win to Eddie and make it a double touching night. You want a WrestleMania moment this is it!!!!!

Till after Mania,
Lance

Droz makes his picks for WrestleMania 22

From wwe.com

Sorry that I have missed everyone for a little while now. I spent a couple of weeks in the hospital with pneumonia, and needless to say when I finally did get out it took me another week before I had enough energy to get up in my wheelchair. I really love this time of year in the wrestling business because of the build up to WrestleMania. It’s almost as exciting as WrestleMania itself…but notice I said almost. This is the big game, the Super Bowl of wrestling and everybody involved in this spectacle is hoping that they are at the tip top of their game when that bell rings. We have a lot of matches to go through, so let’s get started.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Triple H: I have to say that I really have enjoyed John Cena’s reign as champion, but I don’t know if it is his time to continue. I think that with the experience that Triple H has, it is a fair assessment that he will walk away with the gold and be the new WWE Champion.

World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio: As I have stated before, Rey is by far my favorite wrestler; but with Kurt being a friend of mine, it is hard to pick against him. Believe it or not though, I am going to have to go with Rey on this one…the smallest man in the match with the biggest heart will pull this one out in the end and become the new World Heavyweight Champion, all 165 pounds of him.

Mr. McMahon vs. Shawn Michaels (No Holds Barred Match): With everything that Mr. McMahon has done to batter and bruise Shawn Michaels over the past few months, it seems only fitting that HBK will get his revenge on “the man” and leave him a bloody mess. You know that everyone out there would love to have a chance to pummel their boss and this is his chance once again to do some serious damage.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: There are so many great superstars in this match that it is really hard to pick just one. I feel that Bobby Lashley has come a long way, but I don’t see him quite ready for that big jump. I honestly see RVD winning this one. I think that he will be the fan favorite, and although he has only been back for a few months since his injuries, I feel that he is more than deserving of winning this one and getting his shot.

Undertaker vs. Mark Henry (Casket Match): Sorry folks, but Undertaker’s streak will not end at this WrestleMania. Mark Henry is a mountain of a man, but with Undertaker’s vast experience in his many years of wrestling, Henry will end up in the casket when it is all said and done.

Edge vs. Mick Foley (Hardcore Match): I hate myself for doing this, but I see Edge coming out on top of Mick Foley in this one. I never thought those words would come out of my mouth, but Edge is going to find some way to win this one…but not before Mick takes him to the brink of destruction.

United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. JBL: Benoit has been a great US Champion and with Bradshaw coming off an injury it seems that he would be very open to getting injured once again. There is also a huge size difference, but Benoit makes up for it with a huge heart, intensity and superior wrestling skills. Benoit will retain the championship.

World Tag Team Champions Kane & Big Show vs. Chris Masters & Carlito: Here is another one that I hate to go with, but I see Masters and Carlito beating the two giants who currently own the World Tag Team Championship. These two youngsters will find a way to win and become the new champions.

Women's Champion Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James: Trish has held the Women’s Championship for quite some time now, but believe it or not I see Mickie and her very disturbed mind winning the championship from Trish and becoming the new off the wall Women’s Champion.

Boogeyman vs. Booker T & Sharmell: Since he first arrived, the Boogeyman has risen up the ladder quite quickly. I love him; the worms are top notch and it will be good to see him in a high profile match. I think that Booker T might be a little too worried about Sharmell to have his full concentration on this match. The Boogeyman will come out on top…because he is coming to get you!

Torrie Wilson vs. Candice Michelle (Playboy Pillow Fight): As always there are no losers for the fans of this match, but I see Torrie’s exceptional pillow skills putting Candice down for a 1-2-3. Then again, who cares who wins, this is going to be good stuff!

Hopefully all of you will be tuning in to WrestleMania on Sunday. Once again I would like to ask all of you to keep all of our soldiers and their families in your thoughts and prayers, as well as the hurricane victims. These are very trying times and those thoughts and prayers go a long way.

Until next week…

Droz - Peace
