true the guy is fast as fuck, and he can break one off at any time...but when did this guy become a quarterback?...has he been a qb all his life...in all the games ive seen vick in, rarely do i see a throw going to price or any of his other receivers, its moslty crumpler and the running game, a large chunk if it which is vick taking off...only in the espn highlights era do medicre players receive a shitload of praise...vick isnt anything special, aside from his feet, i sometimes watch the guy and wonder why the hell they dont put him in as a rb, give the ball to some 34 yr old vet and just have him hand vick the ball every play...the eagles did a good job of keeping him from taking off, and what happens, the falcons loose and vick looks pitiful throughout the game, one would think that a qb who gets as much praise could have at least beat them with his arm, but its clear...at the moment, hes no qb, just a rb behind center...he reminds me of kordell stewart, only faster...i dont see this guy cutting his hair till the day he retires...unless that shit was just for this season.

dont tell me that w these kind of stats, this is a man who led his team to victory...the team swtiching up to another style of defense whould also receive credit, maybe even more so than vick...what happened when the chiefs ran em up for like 40 points?how many points did vick put up?...the defense deserves more credit than vick for last season imo...you take away vicks running game and hes got nothing, mediocre numbers...a 56.4 completion?...if teams can stop him from running (easier said than done i admit) i doubt they go above .500.

I agree with Gimpypimp... he has to become better from the pocket. I think he's dangerous because he's fast and can take off but he's overrated too. Look at his numbers and quarterback rating compared to the elite quarterbacks. All you have to do is keep him contained and take away his tight end and the Falcons are pretty much done. It's Vick's job to get the ball to his receivers. He may have a strong arm but what about accuracy? It's more to being a quarterback then having fast feet and a strong arm. You have to be able to read defenses and throw accurate passes too. If not, you'll be like Vick.
